Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia

Tipico ed affascinante casale toscano (soffitto a volta in mattoncini rossi, edificio in pietra, pavimento in cotto, solaio in legno), immerso nelle colline verdi, con una piscina affacciata su un panorama favoloso. Tutto il personale gentile ed accogliente. Cucina deliziosa. Camera ben arredata e letto confortevole. Numerose piante di corbezzolo di cui abbiamo fatto un gustoso assaggio.

The winery is located in the peaceful south of Tuscany in a dreamlike landscape high up on a hill, with a perfect view towards the sea. The estate exudes a relaxed atmosphere far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centers. It is the perfect place to switch off. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, the food (both breakfast (a la carte) and dinner (a la carte or “theme evenings”)) is tasty and delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the staff, who are dedicated and always courteous to their guests. This is how hospitality works.

Esperienza unica in una tenuta elegante e immersa nella colline toscane. Massimiliano, lo staff e tutte le ragazze super preparati, gentili e sempre pronti. Camere eleganti e cibo buonissimo. I stayed at Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia as a solo traveller recently and it was absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway with plenty of gorgeous tuscan valleys of rolling hills and clifftop towns to visit nearby, this is the place for you. Massimiliano, Beatrice and Mirco really looked after me so well, they gave lovely service and great sightseeing tips. Very kind people who make you feel most welcome. A shout out to the excellent kitchen chef who cooked delicious! meals each night and also to the lovely cleaning team who worked their magic through the rooms and grounds. Excellent pool too. Nestled within olive groves and vineyards, you can simply sit and enjoy the birdsong and gentle breeze as you gaze across the valley, tall grasses gently swaying before you, casting their long shadows in the evening sun. Bliss. Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay, veramente bello, grazie mille per tutto!!

We had a wonderful few days. An amazing setting, with views 360, as if on the top of the world. The hotel is relaxed and very comfortable. The food fantastic and the pool wonderful. It is a place to relax and chill. Was quite warm while we ere there but that's what the pool is for.

Die Fattoria von Giorgio ist ein Geheimtipp. Das Gebäude und die absolute einzigartige Natur drumherum ist einzigartig. Wir konnten uns nicht sattsehen. Für Familien mit Kindern eher nicht so geeignet. Die Zimmer sind traditionell, bieten alles was man braucht, allerdings kein Luxus wie Safe oder Aircondition. Aber es stehen ausreichend Ventilatoren zur Verfügung. Manche Zimmer/Suiten im EG kämpfen etwas mit Feuchtigkeit. Die Speisen werden auf der idyllischen Terrasse serviert mit viel Liebe und Persönlichkeit von Giorgio und seinem herzlichen Team. Es gibt kein Büffet, sondern individuelle Speisen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten. Das Frühstück ist ebenso individuell und alles wird frisch zubereitet. Nachdem die Sonnenschirme geliefert wurden konnten wir auch den schönen Pool nutzen mit dem gleichen Traumblick. Giorgio und sein freundliches Team schaffen eine wunderbare Verbindung zwischen den Gästen und demTeam, sehr persönlich, sehr familiär. Allerdings muss man die Ruhe mögen. Es liegt weit ab von Zivilisation und man muss immer viele km fahren um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend kennenzulernen. Die Anfahrt zu der Fattoria ist auch kein Vergnügen. Sehr enge Straße mit einigen Metern Schotterstrecke zum Schluss. Eher etwas für SUV oder Jeep als für tiefer gelegte Sportwagen.
