A gem of a stay Check in was easy and welcoming. Our hostess was friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here, again.

The Amethyst Garden Inn is an absolute gem! The house itself is stunning—inside and out—with a timeless charm that instantly makes you feel at home. We stayed in the Hydrangea Suite, and it was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Chemise, the host, is truly the heart of this experience. She made our stay unforgettable with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast! Chemise is an incredible cook, serving up authentic Southern-style meals that were not only delicious but also made with so much love. Each morning was a feast that we looked forward to, and it was hands down the best part of our stay. The location of the house is also fantastic—everything in Savannah seemed to be within a 30-minute walk, making it so easy to explore the area. We loved trying out nearby restaurants like The Public and Clary’s, which were both excellent recommendations. Any bed-and-breakfast in Savannah would be fortunate to have someone like Chemise running the show. Her dedication and passion for hospitality shine through in every aspect of the experience. We can’t recommend the Amethyst Garden Inn enough—it’s a true treasure in Savannah!

Charming and Purple We couldn’t resist this property from the first time we saw the pictures. It was exactly as described and we felt like we were living 200+ years ago but with modern conveniences. It was so charming and we loved our stay. The breakfast and afternoon nibbles were so delicious, hats off to the chef!! Very conveniently located and we would definitely come back!

Overall great stay I loved our stay at Amethyst Garden Inn. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the Inn itself was decorated beautifully. We stayed in a downstairs room, the Begonia room, which provided convenient access to our car and the outdoor seating area. The only downside was that the room was a bit warm and there was no individual air conditioning adjustment, but a fan was provided which made it much better. The location is a good spot - quiet and secluded. We chose to drive down to riverstreet because the walk was around 25 minutes and I was already sunburnt, but you could walk anywhere you wanted from here.

100% recommend! Loved this adorable bed and breakfast, and the room was gorgeous! Very clean and offered an at home feel to being in a new city!

Exceeded expectations The Amethyst Garden Inn was absolutely beautiful. We parked and walked almost everywhere in Downtown Savannah. Chemise made some wonderful breakfasts for us and was a tremendous host. Would definitely stay here again.

Over priced for the accommodations. The lady running the inn was very friendly and helpful, however for the price I expected a little more. The sink was not in the bathroom. No thermostat to control heat or cold. It looks as if a lot of shortcuts were done, like black tape on a light switch, two doorknobs but only one worked. My compliments to the photographer that took pictures of the rooms, they did a great job.

I will definitely be back. The inn was Is it was beautiful and within walking distance to spots and restaurants in Savannah. Chemise was the best hostess. The breakfast she prepared for us was amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Savannah.
