Hôtel Château de Verrières & Spa Saumur

Остановились в этом отеле на одну ночь, когда ездили по замкам долины Луары. Забронировали номер буквально за 1 час до заселения, по телефону (так было дешевле, чем через агрегаторы отелей), приехали, нас отлично встретили, заселили, дали рекомендации по месту для ужина. Персонал очень приятный и клиентоориентированный. Расположение близко к центру города (пешком можно дойти за 15 минут), но в то же время, в очень спокойном районе, ночью было невероятно тихо. Частная удобная парковка на территории. Есть спа и бассейн, мы не пользовались, но визуально выглядит приятно. Больше всего, конечно, понравились интерьер отеля и комнаты. Мы брали номер повышенной комфортности, он был огромный, с большой удобной кроватью, красивой ванной комнатой, с душем и отдельной элегантной ванной. Жена была в восторге, она всегда хотела остановиться в таком замке! :) Везде невероятно чисто, начиная от ванной, заканчивая углами комнаты (где часто, по моему опыту, уборщицы не добираются, типа, никто туда не заглянет). Спать было очень комфортно! Интернет сильный, мне хватило утром для видеозвонков по работе. Завтрак хороший, продукты были качественные и вкусные, но выбор небольшой, от отеля такого уровня (и цены) я ждал больше разнообразия! В отелях, где мы в эту поездку останавливались в долине Луары с таким же ценником (~€290), завтраки были богаче... И ещё из пожеланий: в брошюре в номере было написано, что владельцы отеля лично утром общаются с гостями, но с нами никто не пообщался, хотя было бы интересно поговорить немного, про отель, про жизнь в таком доме и т.д. Точнее, мне кажется, что во время чекаута, оплату принимал как раз владелец, но он не представился, а спрашивать напрямую было как-то неудобно...

Je ne laisse pas souvent de commentaires, mais je souhaite faire une exception pour Flore et Jeremy qui tiennent un hôtel au charme incomparable, avec une grande gentillesse et un grand professionnalisme. Notre chambre était (très !) spacieuse, parfaitement propre, avec un lit très confortable et une magnifique salle de bain. L'accueil était parfait, le petit-déjeuner très bon et si nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine en cette fin de septembre rudement froide, celle-ci donne particulièrement envie, tout comme le parc. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal - pas loin du centre (environ 5 minutes à pied), mais suffisamment à l'écart pour se sentir isolé. Ma compagne et moi avons passé un excellent moment, profitant du très beau spa, de la location de vélos (avec excellente recommandation de restaurant au passage !) et d'un massage bienfaiteur. Flore, Jeremy, nous vous souhaitons une excellente continuation, vous le méritez grandement !

What a magical chateau- steeped in history, small but majestic and an oasis of green within the city of Saumur. Beautifully presented, friendly and helpful staff but discrete service and their presence only when needed. Outdoor heated pool also a highlight. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Chateau with two other couples for 4 nights. We all loved the property and cannot say enough pleasant things about Flor. The house is gorgeous and has several common areas to gather and share adventures of the day. Each of our rooms/suites was spacious, unique, and extremely comfortable. The weather was cooler than expected, so we did not swim, but did recline in lounge chairs for a while one afternoon and could imagine how lovely it would have been to take a dip had the air temperatures cooperated! The chateau was an easy walk to the city center and numerous restaurants. If we are ever in Saumur again, we would not even think of staying elsewhere. Best of luck to Flor and Jeremy with baby #3!

Flore, Jeremy and all their colleagues in the Chateau made us feel special from the moment we arrived. They have a beautiful place – we loved the fact that it was small and intimate but with all the touches that made it feel very special, managing to create the rare combination of a feeling of luxury and splendour with comfort and relaxation. The pool area is gorgeous and it's very easy to spend many hours relaxing here, but Saumur centre is only a short walk away with many places to eat and drink. We have come back home feeling rested and relaxed and with wonderful memories of our time at the Chateau - we cannot fault our visit and are looking forward to returning next summer.

A lovely chateau in the heart of Saumar, family owned and run. We had a large bedroom and bathroom decorated with taste and hints of the orient. The pool is a good size and there are plenty of sun beds to relax on. The gardens are extremely well kept, with plenty of shady trees. There is no restaurant, but staff are happy to recommend and book restaurants for you. They do, of course, serve a full breakfast. There is secure parking accessed by means of a large electric gate.
