Club Mahindra Sherwood Mahabaleshwar

Our recent stay at this resort, as Club Mahindra members, left us rather underwhelming. While Mahabaleshwar itself is serene and beautiful, the resort experience didn’t live up to expectations. The property feels dated and worn out, with poorly maintained internal roads that make even getting around the resort inconvenient. Rooms (booked Hotel Unit) are very basic, and the bathroom setup is especially poor—every shower resulted in the entire floor getting flooded, making it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. Cleanliness needs attention. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but when we requested information about the food and beverage package, the reception team seemed unequipped to answer on two separate occasions. We had to wait while someone else was brought in to assist us, which delayed things unnecessarily and much to their detriment. Food and beverage prices were steep, likely due to the remote location. We alternated between room service and outside restaurant food. Room service itself was fairly prompt, and the staff—especially housekeeping and in-room dining—were courteous and accommodating throughout. Comfort-wise, the beds were good. However, when we requested an extra bed for our child (5 yrs), we were quoted ₹2000 per night, which felt excessive, so we chose not to proceed with it. The room also had a noticeable damp, musty smell on arrival, which only improved after switching on the AC and adjusting the settings. Connectivity was another issue—Wi-Fi was unreliable and patchy, and mobile reception was limited. To top it off, there was a power outage one evening, and oddly, the generator didn’t start immediately, leaving us without electricity for an extended period. All in all, it was a very average stay, and certainly not what one would expect from a Club Mahindra property. While the staff made genuine efforts and the natural beauty of Mahabaleshwar was a highlight, the resort itself needs serious maintenance and upgrades before it can be recommended with confidence.

We really enjoyed our stay Sherwood, the food ,ambience was excellent and the kids enjoyed happy hub activities and the staff was prompt in service hussle free check in and check out and the hospitality of the staff was excellent And would like to mention some staff name Annie ,Mona and sisi were really sweet and helpful.

Stay was very comfortable, with very good service and the restaurant inside has really good food and service. Staff is very polite and on toes to provide good service. The ambience of the resort is very good, and it's location to market is also close by.

We were in Sharewood for Anniversary celebration, Sharewood team made our occasion very very special it was very warm celebration. Hospitality was very awesome also very and kids and whole family was relaxed and enjoyed to the fullest Special Thanks to Nilesh sir he helped to plan the trip and made a wonderful memories out of it.

Awesome experience with club mahindra. Mahindra raises the bar so high, that we compare everywhere else with the experience, hospitality and the gourmet experience with club mahindra. Amd guess what, mahindra comes out tops every single time. Chand pe bhi daal hote hai....probably that's why, there are broken amd unkempt furniture pieces lying scattered around the periphery. Hope that improves. The roads could be better paved. One of yhese days some Senior citizens might just trip and cause an injury. But over all, a fantastic experience. A shout out to reception staff, Mr Akshay ms sisi, Mr Akshit, ms Mona, chef manoj, chef Saurabh, chef suraj. Housekeeping staff Mr amit, Mr Rahul, Mr Akash Did a wonderful job. Thanks a lot guys.

Very Good service and good food available at a reasonable cost in the restaurant. We had a good time. The service by Asmita at the restaurant was excellent and she was prompt at response for all the requests. Overall great hospitality of Club Mahindra
