Club Mahindra Sherwood Mahabaleshwar

We had a truly memorable and comfortable stay at Sherwood. Quick and efficient check in and check out. Good comfortable rooms. Good restaurant serving delicious buffet food, fruits and desserts, reaonable price, excellent restaurant service, courteous and efficient staff who go out of their way to please and cater to the guests, and a special thanks to Gulnaj at Saddle Back restaurant , she did her best to make our dining experience something to relish. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our stay at Sherwood, true to its name the resort is actually in the midst of woods surrounded by trees and has various pathways to explore the property, the ambience at Sherwood is indeed lovely, the resort has a beautiful pool and a deck from where one can see and experience beautiful sunsets, there are multiple pay areas for the kids, wake up listening to bird songs.

This is an extremely rundown resort. Nowhere like the experience Club Mahindra is known for. Complete waste of the annual maintenance fees. Driveway to the car park is broken in parts, car tyres will get ruined and so will your back if you walk there; absolute nightmare for senior citizens. I was in room 501. Room was large but musty with poor natural lighting. Bathroom was spacious but had poor lighting and was probably renovated 20 years ago. Windows were dirty with dirt on the glass and metal channels. Towels felt much used, stiff and scratchy. I had a single meal - breakfast - in the two days I spent there. Very limited spread and very average taste. I had all my meals in the restaurants in the main market. No one from Club Mahindra hospitality even bothered to reach out during the stay, again unlike other resorts. Avoid this resort if you can.

My wife and I visited Sherwood in Diwali Vacation 2024. Mr. Nilesh Pol in Reception to the Chef Dharmendra, everyone was ever willing to make us comfortable. Chef Dharmendra made jain meals as per our dietary requirements with a smile. Nilesh was every present to help in every situation. Both require a special mention here. Enjoyed our vacation at Sherwoods.

the overall experience was very pleasant. Moe Konyak and Anni helped us and was a great host. Tejas Sisi Imle and Gaytri served us great at the restaurant. Mahesh and Sunir were great hosts. Sunir,the swimming pool staff also was very helpful

Set amidst a lot of greenery the resort gives access to fresh and high-quality air. The overall layout of the resort and the size of the property are wonderful with access to wonderful treks (Connect with Sahil from the team there, who did a wonderful job on our trek). The upkeep of the rooms left a lot to desire and was a let-down by our standards and also against expectations from a Club Mah property. We had to switch rooms after the first night itself. The paths within the resort were broken down (explained to us as an impact of rain) and one has to be watchful. Hopefully, they will repair them and get them up and running to make it safe. The staff at the spa was very cordial and we had a good time at the spa (having pre-booked). Club Mah needs to make up their mind on what they want to do with the property (keep or release) and do the needful, saving members from the trouble of utilising their holidays if they decide to discontinue.
