Clos de Vaul Creux

I arrived alone and was made very welcome. Leigh gave me the option of a room upgrade which I excepted so was able to stay in a lovely attic room with a bath and views of the night sky. Leigh is an incredible cook so I recommend eating in at least once. I was very well looked after and was even invited to the pub one evening with Leigh and her partner where I was introduced to some locals and even danced to the local band! Wonderful holiday that left me feeling very refreshed.

It was a unique stay in a totally magical place of peace and relaxation. Everything was so beautifully decorated for Christmas, the room was great. We absolutely enjoyed the breakfasts. Leigh met our every wish and we can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the fantastic garden as well!

À fuir ! Avoid !!!!! Nous dérangions en arrivant trop tôt. Accueil glacial. Nous voulions simplement nous délester de nos valises. Interdiction de rentrer dans la maison avec nos chaussures. Nous devions aller dans une annexe pour obtenir le code wifi, elle ne voulait pas le donner de vive-voix. De notre chambre nous entendions sa télévision, je lui ai demandé aimablement de baisser le volume, elle a refusé prétextant que c’était impossible que le son nous dérange. Nous avions demandé 2 lits, le second était un lit pliant de piètre qualité. Nous avions réglé la chambre dès le mois de mai malheureusement. Bref une hôtesse qui n’a aucune vocation et n’a jamais esquissé le moindre sourire. Prix totalement injustifié. Sark mérite mieux, tellement mieux. We were disturbing by arriving too early. Frosty welcome. We simply wanted to get rid of our suitcases. No entry into the house with our shoes on. We had to go to an annexe to get the wifi code, she did not want to give it out loud. From our room we could hear her television, I kindly asked her to turn the volume down, she refused, claiming that it was impossible for the sound to disturb us. We had requested 2 beds, the second was a pour quality folding bed. Unfortunately we had paid for the room in May. In short, a hostess who has no vocation and has never cracked a smile. Totally unjustified price. Sark désertes better, so much better.À fuir !
