Cocoon Suites

The Cocoon Suites is a wonderful hotel! Our room, a junior suite, was spacious and exuded Santorini Charm. The 2 junior suites do lack a touch of privacy as the main path to the hotel passes between the room and terrace & hot tub. Other rooms, on the other side of the property would not have this issue. Imerovigli is quiet and away from the hustle & bustle of the larger towns. The downside of this is there were only 2 restaurants still open in early November, and one of those closed on our last night. During the tourist season this wouldn't be an issue, but be aware if you are traveling off season.

The whole experience was amazing. The suites are incredible and the staff were nice and very helpful. Our experience with the massage team at cocoon suites was absolutely incredible! Nick and Natalia are truly world-class massage therapists who went above and beyond to ensure total relaxation and comfort. Nick has an amazing ability to target deep muscle tension with precision while still keeping the experience calming and therapeutic. His professionalism and intuitive touch made it one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Natalia was my husband’s masseuse and he said she brought such a calming presence and expert technique — he left the session feeling completely renewed, both physically and mentally. Her attention to detail and genuine care really set her apart. Together, Nick and Natalia are a dream team. If you’re visiting cocoon suites, do yourself a favor and book a massage with them. You won’t regret it — they’re a major highlight of the whole experience!

This was our first trip to Santorini and it was amazing. We stayed in the family suite. This was literally the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions we had, helping us choose restaurants and making us reservations for a boat outing and a beach club. The stairs were a lot but of you are in shape and know what to expect, it’s fine. This hotel is “off the beaten path”. Not in Fira or Oia but they are both easy to get to. They have a transfer service you can use to get anywhere on the island. The service is very responsive and the vans are nice. Overall, our stay was amazing.

The staff was great! Highly recommended! We were able to rent a car right on top of the hill above the hotel. We were allowed to park it there as well. All within a walkable distance. The awaited for our arrival and carry our luggage down the stairs. The room was large clean and offer a great view.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Cocoon for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Grand Cave Suite as we wanted a larger outside area and kitchen. Kitchen had a fridge/freezer and kettle but no other equipment - although I’m sure this would have been provided if requested. We were intending to do our own lunches but breakfast was so sufficient we didn’t need to eat again until the evening when we went out. In hindsight may have opted for the room with tunnel pool and no kitchen. That said, the surrounding pools in other complexes were so cold people weren’t using them so we were glad of the plunge pool/jacuzzi which was positioned perfectly with views across the bay. The staff were amazing. Couldn’t fault them. There are some steep steps to get up/down to Cocoon and our bags were carried for us. We also had a catamaran cruise as park of our package which was arranged - amazing and highly recommend. They also organised quad hire and made restaurant recommendations and reservations. We did use TA to source places to eat and that worked well. We were glad of a slow paced holiday but there are things to do if you want to but can appreciate why people island hop. The position of Cocoon is great as within a small village but walking distance to Fira (take sensible, good grip shoes as some steep cobbled areas). The towns are very busy so we appreciated being that further bit out. We were also really lucky on our last night to see the annual firework display - held in sept but official date only released 10 days before! The fireworks mimicked the eruption of the volcano (directly opposite) and were spectacular. Pros: Beautiful, clean, great location, all amenities Fab breakfast Cons: None of Cocoon but Santorini is expensive There is a smell of sulphur (you do get used to it) the island is surprisingly littered outside of the touristy areas

Cocoon suites have been an absolute pleasure for us to staying at :) The location is incredible and our suite was above all expectations. So clean and comfortable, with everything needed for the most relaxing gateaway. The feeling of our jacuzzi being like in a real cave was one of the biggest highlights! The breakfast was lovely and privately served at our balcony overlooking this incredible view of the ocean and the volcano! Thank's for the warm welcome and to all the stuff for being so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a luxurious unique experience, that will remain unforgettable - this is definetely the place to be!
