Daedalus Hotel

Overall our experience here was good. The downer was we were initially placed in a room in the "basement" you had to look way up from your balcony to see some blue sky. The room was very dingy in appearance - When we complained to a staff member, possibly owner? She was an older woman- she argued with us that it was not a basement but it was ground floor level. I stated we didn't want to argue over it, but she continued to argue/insist it was not a basement. I thought that point was irrelevant because the room was not to our liking, and it didn't matter what she called it. They could not accommodate a move that night, but we were moved the next day to a lovely room on the 2nd floor, with a nice view of the pool and surroundings. The gentleman at the front desk was immensely helpful and very pleasant. He made phone calls for us and was able to translate and assist with whatever we requested. We had no other problems during our stay. The breakfast was very good and moderate variety of foods. The breakfast room was clean and well attended. The hotel location couldn't be better. It was a block away from the bus station which we used daily, and the neighbouring shops just steps away from the bus station. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would stay here again, but would request a room "above ground level" prior to arrival.

Three friends stayed at this wonderful hotel! The service was amazing, room was so clean and bright! Breakfast in the mornings were plentiful, fresh and having Maggie greet you was always so lovely! The beds were super comfortable, shower was clean with lots of hot water and many clean towels. The location was good for walk to many dining and shopping options in the square! The pool was very clean and again Maggie made your afternoon especially with her Aperal Spritz! Joanna and her boutique is a lovely place to buy some nice clothing, jewlery and the Jean jackets are so unique!! Thank you so much for the amazing accommodation in Santorini!

Amazing location and wonderful staff. I was with a tour group and we were are very well taken care of. Joanne is an outstanding hostess. The pool is gorgeous with all types of seating, very shady and a pool bar. Buffet breakfast had many options and staff was polite and attentive. Only a short walk to shopping, restaurants and amazing views. I highly recommend this hotel.
