Villa Roussa City Center

Reasonable overnight stay This place was close to the bus station, which we needed as we were arriving by air at near 11pm and didn’t reach our hotel until near midnight. A staff member was still waiting for us when we arrived, which was nice. The room was clean, small and outdated but adequate for one night. We were able to leave our bags at reception until leaving on the ferry next afternoon. The different staff we encountered on reception were pleasant and helpful. Being next to the bus station and main streets meant that it was noisy with people coming and going and sometimes shouting until very early in the morning. It was expensive for what we got compared to many other places in Greece but then this is Santorini which is an expensive island wherever you stay.

One night A really convenient stop for my first night in Santorini right by the bus stop! Which means no hills and no awkward cobbled streets to navigate. Reception staff super friendly and welcoming.

Hotel muy limpio, y las habitaciones se limpian diariamente. La habitacion era amplia y muy bonita, disponen de lavabo y ducha dentro de la habitación y aire acondicionado. El hotel dispone de un pequeño jacuzzi en el tejado, y un espacio con algunas hamacas. El hotel está muy bien ubicado junto a la estación de buses de Fira, pero no se escucha alboroto de la gente. El personal del hotel muy amable. Recepción no 24h (están aproximadamente de 10am a 7pm), y se pueden dejar las maletas en Recepción antes del Check-in para visitar Fira sin ir cargados. Si necesitáis alquilar Scooter/Quad os pueden aconsejar una empresa cercana.

villa Roussa, for 2-3 night stay is convenient and great. Behind bus station and close to all restaurants and shopping. Not a fancy place but for the price is just right. the front desk host is great and friendly. Just remember to call if you are arriving late, it is not a 24 hr front desk. Overall for a budget conscious travel is a great choice.

The Villa Roussa was perfect for my short stay in Santorini. It is located just behind the bus station (2 min walk), which is incredibly convenient (and the reason I booked the hotel). The bus is easy to catch to and from the airport and Oia, for only €1.60 cash (no card). The building was hard to find, as it is in a side street, but I called the property manager when I arrived and he met me and showed me the way. After delayed/missed flights, he was very accommodating, ensuring he met my check in time when I finally arrived at 10pm. The main street was still buzzing, and I felt safe, as an alert single female, going to get dinner when I arrived. The building is a bit dated, but it’s fine if you’re not fussy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning was a great to get relief from the Santorini heat. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Zimmerservice gab es nur auf Anforderung. Bei mir überhaupt nicht. Zimmersafe war nicht befestigt und konnte mühelos entfernt werden. TV nur mit griechischen Sendern. Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage. Ich habe nachts bei gekipptem Fenster geschlafen. Nachts hört man immer wieder Leute die sich unterhalten und zu ihrem Auto oder Motorrad gehen und wegfahren. Der Taxistand ist auch da. Es ist vor dem Hotel relativ viel Betrieb nachts. Morgens gegen 5 Uhr wurde es dann langsam ruhiger. Öffentliche Parkplätze in der Umgebung, aber nicht ausreichend.
