Scorpios Beach arvostelua

Hotel room’s AC wasn’t working and there were a lot of ants. The floor seemed dirty too. Location is bad as there are only a few buses running per day however the bus station is 30 seconds away from the hotel. As is the beach. Overall Santorini is really expensive so you are getting what you paid for in the island. I’d rate it a 6 out of 10 but it’s a nice choice if you’re planning to save some money and not spend too much time at the hotel.

Very beautiful and romantic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop close by to take you to explore the island and the staff informed us well about it and the also told us of the restaurants and local shop. The room we stayed in was clean and modern with a living area, bathroom and bedroom and a little courtyard outside our door with table and chairs. There was a Nespresso machine and 4 pods, these were not replenished in our stay (3 nights) also they provided us with a bottle of water on the first night as you can’t drink water from the taps but again was not given another one in our stay (I’m sure we could of asked and they would of given us more but we were happy to just bring water back from our days out). The pool/bar area is very nice and catches the sun from morning until sunset. The drinks are on the slightly higher side but this is common for Santorini. The breakfast is very nice with a good selection of different things you would expect on a continental buffet, the pastries are particularly nice. Our flight was late so the hotel stored our bags and let us use the shower room before our transfer. Overall great experience.

The room was clean and equipped with kettle, coffee maker, bottle opener, dishes and glasses for 3, and hair dryer. Drinking water was provided each day, and the hotel has a pool and free WiFi. Once I understood that the vibe was supposed to be "Cycladic Village" hence cement construction, heavy shutters, minimalist decor with bare light bulbs for bedside lamps, I was able to accept the room, but I did not love it, nor could I find the "luxury" other reviewers wrote about. Rooms were not equipped with amenities like tissue, slippers, robes, or body cream. The light in the magnifying mirror did not work, and the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty and not replenished during my stay (I used shower gel instead). My room had table and chairs in a public area (not a private balcony as shown in the photos), shutters that were blocked by branches and could not be properly opened. There was inadequate outside lighting and arriving at my room after dark, I could not find the keyhole and had trouble unlocking the door. I should have asked for another room that faced toward the beach to avoid the full brunt of the sun all day and perhaps avoid all the other problems of this particular room. On a positive note, the scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best of the five hotels I stayed at.

Spent 7 nights here and such a lovely small hotel. Accommodation was so comfortable, pool area so relaxing with great bar and daytime food options. Breakfast was also good if you are happy with simple , self service style. Varied selection. Opposite the beach. Only 5 mins transfer from airport so be prepared for plane noise. Difficult to walk any distance especially after dark as no lighting and no proper roads / pavements. Limits options for dinner as no taxis and transfers expensive. Definitely worth mentioning the team here who make the stay - welcoming / informative and always on hand. Cocktails at bar were superb. Thank you for looking after everyone so well.

Stop reading the reviews and book this hotel before you miss out! The exceptional owner and staff make this beautiful hotel the best choice in Santorini. The staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and rightfully proud of the 5* service they deliver. We booked on the reviews alone, and were not dissapointed. Hotel is beautifully presented and perfect if you're looking for something relaxed, clean and high quality. You will only be dissapointed if you book somewhere else.

Looking for an oasis of calmness on a busy island, this is the place! Small sized hotel, all luxery combined with nice designed architecture , excellent dishes all kind (Thx Martha!!), what a person can which more? But...there is more! The way the full staff is treating you....outstanding! So professional, so kind, so warm, so helpfull, spontaneous,.... after 50 years traveling, we never experienced this before! The hotel is supposed to be 4 starts but in reality they got more : Konstantina, Vasilici, Martha, Konstastinos, Saba,..... (=shortlist....) They are the best thinkable publicity the hotel can have, not less, for Santorini, for Greece. Thank you!!!!!!

We highly recommend the hotel, excellent location and a great atmosphere. The staff is impeccable, very attentive, very friendly and professional. A friendly quiet clean hotel. The staff were so helpful and the rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Lovely spacey clean rooms with a traditional touch. Comfy pool, bar n dining place. Very tasty cousin all meals n snacks sooo good! The stuff is very helpful n full of tips where to go n where not to. Beach just across the street with free hommock n beach towels. I'll be back

On arrival at night we were impressed with the beautiful lighted pathways and our upper floor suite which was tastefully decorated and the whitewashed walls with rustic furniture gave that authentic greek touch , I cannot rave enough about the staff at this hotel who smile all day and treat you well , The breakfast is kept fresh and simple and has plenty of choice , The lunchtime menu and evening food is excellent and very reasonably priced as is everything within the hotel and would suggest using the hotels facilities when there , Kostas was the guy in charge and made sure we were always looked after by his staff and a special mention to his barman Saba who was always on hand to pour me a beer or two , I look forward to returning here as it was many years since i went to Greece and this hotel and staff helped remind me how charming and beautiful it was . Use the local buses to get you into Fira and Kamari otherwise you could spend a bit on taxis if you arent driving yourselves around , Use the local beach as its lovely and quiet and your days pass by peacefully . We cannot recommend Scorpio Beach Hotel enough. The place was gorgeous with ‘first date vibes’. So pretty. Our room was lovely with a little terrace. It was cleaned every day. Breakfast was very good and they were constantly replenishing the food and always with a smile. We also had a couple of meals which were very good. The staff give exceptional service, all of them. Vasaleke (probably spelt wrong) gave us the best welcome ever. And the rest of the reception team were great. Another special mention to Saba the young Barman who looked after us well and made us laugh. Costas (one of the owners) was lovely too. The pool area is very nice but we spent most of our days at the beach which is just across the road. We loved it. If you don’t mind a 20-30 minute walk we would recommend Drunkfish restaurant, Mario’s and Galini. The little taverna opposite the local shop is very good too. We caught the bus to Kamira and to Thira which were both lovely for the evening. We actually preferred Kamira as a little less busy. A fantastic holiday. We’d definitely go back. A big thank you to all the Scorpio team for making it so special.

First time on Santorini and we could not fault the hotel or the island. We chose this hotel as we prefer less crowds and it delivered exactly as we hoped. The location was quiet but with a couple of nice local taverns, a shop and a lovely sunset around 10 mins away at Drunken Fish. The hotel provided suite rooms which were amazing with lovely outside terraces a spotless pool, lovely bar and good door. The staff were faultless, so friendly and helpful, we got advice on everything we asked for and discovered some less touristy gems. It was one of our best holiday experiences and we would happily return. The beach is 2 mins away as is the local bus stop. Thira is as stunning as we hoped although I imagine it is very busy in July and August. Can't recommend Scorpios Beach Hotel highly enough and would.like to thank all the team on Kitchen, breakfast, reception and bar for being so welcoming and accommodating. We will return

We spent a fabulous week at The Scorpios Beach Hotel on our bucket list holiday to Santorini. The rooms are beautiful furnished, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Good choice of breakfast and lovely menu. A quiet, peaceful location in Monolithos. The highlight was the Staff, very friendly and helpful and deserve a huge thank you from us for their hospitality which was second to none. Kostas, Konstantina, Vasiliki, Saba, Rana, Martha and all other staff thank you for our wonderful time. Santorini is absolutely stunning and so grateful to eventually get the opportunity to visit. 🫶 xxx

We have just got back to the UK after spending a week at The Scorpios Beach Resort and we would just like to say what a lovely place to stay, the room was cleaned every day, the food was delicious, they had 3 lots of large parties in while we were there and the staff coped very well and quickly replenished the breakfast buffet once the big parties had practically cleared it! The staff were fab, very friendly, Konstantina on reception was very helpful, make sure you get the bus timetable and map off her as the buses run 4 times a day just outside the hotel that will take you to the main town of Fira where you can change and get a bus to anywhere on the Island, we chose to take the excursion that was offered by Jet2 for 51 euros each and visited the monastery at the highest point of the island, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, red beach, Fira and Oia, the prehistoric city in Akrotiri that was unearthed in 1967 we found fascinating! Oia to watch the sunset was too busy for us so we took our photos and headed off to the righthand side of the main square and found a lovely bar down the hill that provided blankets and served the santorini sunset cocktail and it was the perfect spot for us to watch the sunset. We walked to Kamari or you can get the bus from Fira, that was a nice small town to visit with plenty of restaurants and a local vineyard (there are lots on the island). Back to Scorpios, we would like to thank all of the staff, Kostas, Martha, Saba, Ranol, Konstantina, Konstantinos and the handyman who fixed our suitcase that was broken on our way out there, you are all an absolute credit to the Scorpios you all go out of your way to make everyone feel welcome and we will definitely be coming back, thank you again for making our holiday so relaxing and memorable.
