Cama muy cómoda, habitación agradable con buenas vistas, un remanso de paz. Es una experiencia diferente, al ser la hospedería parte del monasterio. El único problema es que cualquier ruido del pasillo te despierta.

Cannot beat the location as it is located near the Santiago Cathedral. Monastery steeped in history. The dinner and breakfast are decent. Serving staff are friendly. However, be warned, bed bugs. Stayed for 2 nights - on second morning, legs, arms covered in bed bug bites! Warned the cleaning staff.

Posizione centralissima, in una delle piazze laterali alla Cattedrale, personale gentile e professionale, camere piccole e minimali, ma pulite e comode. La colazione, che viene servita nel refettorio più piccolo e che è compresa, propone sia salato che dolce, con torte di produzione propria. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' possibile pranzare e cenare presso il grande refettorio/ristorante, alla cifra di € 15 tutto compreso : un primo e un secondo a scelta su due, dolce, vino di produzione propria e acqua. Nell'atmosfera che si respira a Santiago de Compostela, questa sistemazione è ideale, un'esperienza da provare!

This old monastery is a fabulous building that was the end of The Camino De Santiago and although it has been turned into a hotel, it has kept as much of the interior as is possible. Lovely stone floors, walls and ornate ceilings are all still in place but it does have some modern conveniences such as a lift to upper floors. The bar / TV room was nice and quaint with a lovely bar tender. The outside space in the cloister garden was a nice spot to have a coffee etc. They had a very secure luggage room with a staff member on-site at all times. The gift shop located by the cloister meant you did not have to go outside to get your mementos, especially The Camino Scallop shell that all the walkers buy. We did not walk The Camino, just wanted to stay here for the character and it did not disappoint. Very busy with walkers so book early. It is located directly behind The Cathedral at the top the old town area and is a nice walk down all the old streets and musicians / bands play every night in the cathedral Square or close by. The rooms are kept in a traditional monastery style so a bit sparse in relation to other hotels but that was part of the experience. They have very good set price lunch & dinner every day in a huge hall that feels like you were in Hogwarts itself. It is not within walking distance of the bus station ( same as most places ) so you will need a taxi. It was great way to end our Galician trip . . hotels are hotels but this is an experience you do not get very often so I would recommend you try it out or you will be missing out.

Excelente ubicación. Tranquilidad monacal para descansar, desayuno austero pero suficiente como el propio establecimiento, personal muy amable, decoración adecuada al edificio, instalaciones con encanto. Sin teléfono ni televisión pero no se echan de menos.

Estupendo el alojamiento en este lugar histórico. La ubicación es perfecta en pleno centro histórico de Santiago. Se puede ir a pie a todas partes. Las habitaciones sencillas pero muy correctas. Todo muy limpio y cómodo. Nos ha encantado. Volveremos el año que viene

Two night stay at the end of our Camino. Perfect location in the center of old Santiago, mere steps from the cathedral. Lots of history in this is a restored old monastery and it retains its feeling of the austere life of the monks. Beds are not the most comfortable and the rooms have little if any modern additions (no tv in ours for example) It’s a very large property and hallways feel more like a hospital than a hotel, but this adds to the experience. Breakfast was barely ok. You’re not allowed to bring food out of the cafeteria (?). We are out so we did not get a chance to try the dining room. Service was very good.

hôtel très bien situé(juste derrière la cathédrale),la possibilité de pouvoir séjourner dans un édifice historique et en profiter à un petit prix(29 euros avec petit dej)c est extra,la chambre et la salle de bain un peu austère mais la literie est très confortable ,j y retournerais c est sur,je le conseille +++++
