Plaza Santa Ponsa Boutique - Adults Only.

We’d been looking forward to this break and booked a corner suite, thinking this would be a treat. How wrong we were. The room was so shabby and frankly just dirty. A water bottle under the sofa from before we arrived until the day we left. If you sat in the desk/dressing table bucket chair the faux leather disintegrated onto your skin and clothes, the bathroom stool was broken, the walls were stained, and as for the corridors, I thought we were in a hostel! It reminded me of Butlins from the early 90’s! The wall stickers are peeling (and tacky). Many of the windows are blown so condensation sits inside the glass. The breakfast was lovely and the ambience in the bar was pleasant. The staff were fairly grumpy and reluctant to help when we showed the images of the room. It was only on check out an English lady (manger/owner.. unconfirmed) showed an interest and genuinely seemed disappointed. We got a brief apology. This was not a cheap break and the hotel does not reflect the lovely bar area and Harry’s next door. The difference is vast. Don’t be fooled! If you’re using it as a base for a cycling holiday, which many do, I’m sure you’ll be fine. If you are looking for a hotel that will feel like a treat, book the H10, just a 5 minute walk to the right, it is much more pleasant (and less like an 18-30’s hostel). I’ve waited to leave this review as I’d left contact details and thought we may receive contact from the management team. We did not. Again, demonstrates that customer care is not their top priority. Disappointing.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. However the shower was very small. I could only get into it sideways and every time I moved I accidentally nudged against the tap and turned it off. I am of average size. Also on two days there were no bath towels in the bathroom

Mitten im Zentrum Wer mitten im Zentrum von Santa Ponsa ein gutes Hotel sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Strand, Restaurants etc. alles fußläufig erreichbar. Unmittelbar vor dem Hotel Busstation und Taxistation. Wer es lieber ruhig mag, ist hier sicherlich falsch. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet und eine nette Cocktailbar machen den Urlaub komplett.

Tolles Hotel mitten im Leben Wir hatten die Suite gebucht. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war Super, aber man muss ein paar Zugeständnisse machen. Inventur ist schon sehr abgewohnt. Teppiche und Polstermöbel so wie Sitzauflagen müssten dringend erneuert werden. Die Lage ist super. Zu Fuß in 5 Minuten am Strand und im direkten Umfeld mindestens 10 verschiedene und gute Restaurants. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super! Wer nicht die Ruhe benötigt sondern lieber mitten im Trubel seinen Urlaub verbringt ist hier genau richtig. Taxistand und Busse in alle Richtungen direkt vorm Eingang. Auf einen Mietwagen könnte man hier sogar verzichten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Not great Positives: central location, nice hotel, easy to get beds at the pool, 2 free drinks at Jutlandia Negatives: rooms barely cleaned and mould around the shower. The maid left the master key in our room TWICE and reception didn’t care, maid also left our door open while we were out for hours - reported to reception with zero apology! My mum had an electric shock from the hairdryer in the bathroom due to exposed wires. Safe did not work and when reported, reception advised they’d need to call maintenance and had no idea when they’d be out - they never ever showed. Apart from the young female working, bar service was lacking - slow and not the friendliest. Checked out and weren’t asked about our stay etc. room also had 1 bath towel which wasn’t ideal.

We only visited bar..Superb staff, great quality cocktails, expertly crafted by staff. Top quality ingredients. LOVELY ambience and background music, and very comfortable seating. Restaurant next to it excellent. Very relaxing. No overcrowded.. Full waiter service and very attentertive.
