This is my second time returning to Melia Llana and my boyfriend's first time - and we have mixed feelings about returning again. Firstly, we've gone for the VIP package at €50 per night, which really does make the holiday as it opens up so many more options. The positives - all staff are lovely, polite and attentive. There have been a number of staff at Linikers and Bikini Beach and the Level Pool at Llana who can't do enough for us. Also, the room has been kept exceptionally clean. We've also enjoyed the rock band who has played for a few nights here. We've had some really really fun nights at the late night Azul bar where the bartenders, DJ's and entertainment staff genuinely want you to have the best time. The negatives - the place is a little tired and this shows in the room. For example toilet seat is brown. Tiles missing on our terrace that could cause an accident. Broken sun loungers. Although this didn't massively bother us, it does add up and takes away from the luxury feeling of the holiday. But the main point is the food - We are not fussy people and not complainers, but we have been served really really bad food on a number of occasions. I ordered a pizza from the level pool, and what came was a pizza from the day before, reheated with my choice of toppings placed on top. I genuinely feel if I had eaten it I'd have gotten ill. My partner ordered a caeser salad from La Cabana and the chicken was easily 2 days old if not more. We feel the resort could create such a better lasting feeling for its guests if there is some respect, in terms of thinking we won't notice being served food that has seen its best day. I do want to balance this with some fantastic meals - Nami restaurant is amazing in particular. We just want some consistency! Overall we love the tranquility "no stress" and would still recommend this lovely resort. I'd just like the management to take note of what feels like some simple fixes.
