Hotel Riu Cabo Verde - All Inclusive Adults Only

Our second stay at this wonderful hotel, our room was in need of a little updating, however it was spotlessly cleaned daily, and any extra requests we made were fulfilled ontime. The staff here are all wonderful, friendly and work extremely hard. A huge shout out to William who looked after us so well at breakfast times, listening to him gently singing whilst working was such a refreshing start to our day! We will definitely return !

No complaints at all. Staff work really hard and can’t do enough for you. Everywhere is constantly being cleaned and any issues are solved quickly. The hotel rooms and pool area are looking a little tired but didn’t distract from our holiday. Maybe smoking should be banned from pool area. 4 star not 5 due to a refurb required but would use again.

Always excellent, staff are awesome, food is top class, white party was fabulous 👌. The bedroom is large with four optics in the room, very comfy bed too. This is our 3rd visit, and our favourite restaurant is the Italian by far which you have to book on to the Riu app which is easy to do. The entertainments team is second to none, like a cruise ship standard, they are so smiley and happy. The pools are tired, I have mentioned before. They need to close one, re tile it, mend the table in the pool, then do the other pool. Tiles are missing and just needs the five star bits it is missing and needs upgrading. The sunbeds are tired and seat pads very worn. Everyone works very hard, and must shout out to the wonderful capuchino coffee bar too.

Excellent value for money being all inclusive. Proximity to the beach is fabulous and having the beach bar there is a bonus. Huge variety of food on offer but could improve in the vegetarian selections and for those with intolerances. Pool area clean. Will be returning!

Ignore the poor reviews . The people who wrote them don’t have their eyes open . Firstly the buffet is so good that we don’t want to book the a la carte restaurants for fear of missing something. We are choosy about food ,don’t eat ready meals, takeaways or upf I am vegetarian or pescatarian , don’t like labels and am into whole and natural foods .,The choice is amazing , fresh fruit, shakes eggs anyway plus , breads galore, desserts plus , fish +++. Ok you get the picture. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and there is always a smile .The caffee bar has cakes all day long and snacks at lunchtime and will make any coffee you like - I’ve just had a super soya milk frappe . The rooms are fine,spacious and comfortable,cleaned spotlessly each day and…no dust. Ok there may be a mark on the paint here and there . Big deal ! Any fault reported has been dealt with,only minor things ,the air con is fine but not needed much. It puts other all inclusives we have been to in the shade . There is always somewhere to sit,in or out of the sun Plenty of room on the beach,just ignore the tour sellers or be firm and they don’t follow you . No lookee lookee men !To be quite honest we haven’t been to the pool yet as we are not big sunbathing fans , that is for another day. Neither do we know what’s around here,have been catching up on writing, reading and relaxing.But the food … 11/10 Staff 11/10 Have already booked for next year !
