Higher than was expected, beautiful location, nice stuff , everything was amazing

All good things to say about this property: a 3 block walk from the train station! This is a must since Sintra can be a very hilly place to stay. A flat, 10 minute walk to the historic center of Sintra/National Palace. Rented a private room that included private bath + all linens. Amazing views (of either the National Palace, Pena Palace and/or the Moorish Castle, all high in the hills) with windows that opened for fresh air but were also sound proof w/ thick curtains for the light. The mattresses were seriously the MOST COMFORTABLE throughout my stay in Portugal! Room was as large as hotel rooms I stayed in throughout the country also + bathroom had a spacious shower! A lot of space to lounge e.g. outdoor courtyard, inside, or at the on-site restaurant. Private rooms are in separate wing (as is the dorm) w/ ~5 other rooms so be prepared for the doors slamming, but no excessive noise thankfully and it was quiet at night. Staff was so friendly and helpful with local information! Sometimes you go to a place where they cannot make recommendations. We left our bags @ the hostel before catching the train, and they were locked in a secure area unlike some hostels. This was the best deal and will certainly return.

Very good! We had a very good stay. The staff was lovely and for the price you pay, the room was very good. We would come back!

Amamos o lugar. Limpíssimo, cheiroso, organizado, bem decorado e conservado. Quarto aconchegante, confortável mesmo sendo pequeno, cama macia, lençóis e travesseiros macios, ar-condicionado silencioso e eficiente, banheiro grande, com um box amplo e chuveiro quente. A cozinha compartilhada é bem equipada e o pequeno almoço é suficiente, com itens de qualidade e saborosos. Os funcionários são muito educados, gentis, simpáticos e atenciosos, sempre prontos a nos atender. A localização é muito boa, próximo do centro, de restaurantes e da estação de comboios. Fica à 15 minutos à pé do supermercado Pingo Doce.

Great stay right in city close to everything

Very nice hostel. Off season so not busy.
