Hostal Casa Verde

I initially got the mixed shared room and there is NO AC. Not doable. 7 people in a room without a/c in a 34 Celsius El Salvador is just crazy. They had a bathroom only for the girls and one for the guys, and that was amazing. I went downstairs to eat at their little bar and even though everyone was amazing, the food was very pricey. $8 for a portion of 7 fried shrimps with no sides or anything. $6.50 for calamari with garlic which I thought it was a portion but instead was served on a slice of bread. Both very disappointing. At the bar there was this super nice guy ( I assume he’s the owner) so he heard me complaining of how hot the room was and offered me to change for additional $6. So I came to a female dorm with 3 beds and AC and that was heaven. Their breakfast is amazing! Carmen was really lovely! The hostel is beautiful and EXTREMELY CLEAN, im impressed! Staff was very friendly!

I have been there during my Central America trip, and was one of my best experience. I had a single room, all the time free coffee, and Carlos the Host gived me the feeling that im a Friend, and felt home far away from home. Downtown area, you will find everything nearby, and please visit the amazing volcano above the city, i never made it!

Beautiful hostel with lots of areas to socialise and relax. The pool is great to have in the heat. The breakfast is delicious and the showers are excellent. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Book early as it's no wonder this place sells out fast.

The best value in Santa Ana. There's a dorm and also private rooms. Hot water, AC, and great breakfast included. Three time visitor. Carlos and staff are super friendly and helpful. Safe location. I will be back.

Bravo à Carlos et à toute son équipe vraiment accueillante, aimable et professionnelle. Tout est parfaitement organisé que se soit pour des personnes seules des couples ou des familles. Il n'y a pas à hésiter, il faut y aller. Étape incontournable à SANTA ANA . Et en plus il y a une piscine !!!

Excelente hostel, com boa localização e áreas comuns muito agradáveis, incluindo uma piscina. Há uma cozinha compartilhada super equipada. Há freezer com bebidas a preços bem honestos. O quarto duplo é amplo, com camas excelentes, ar-condicionado, área para colocar as bagagens, banheiro excelente. O café da manhã é sensacional, típico da América Central, com suco natural inclusive. Há um restaurante no hostel. O proprietário é super simpática e tem todas as dicas sobre o que fazer na região. Um dos melhores hostels em que já estive.
