Hotel Vibra San Remo

Not welcoming reception. Room dirty and not basics stuff in the bathroom! They only gave me two cups and one soap bar. Tried to request shampoo and information about hotel and reception was really rude

We have just returned home after 5 days. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable with friendly staff. We were all inclusive and no complaints, we have been to previous all inclusive- mainly Greece and compared to those the choice of food is much smaller, however what was on offer was fine and there was something for everybody. All inclusive drinks are fine, with snacks throughout the day like pizza, nachos, fries, bar closes 11pm prompt. The hotel is n a great location lots of restaurants, shops nearby. Reggae beach is a 20 min walk away - worth a visit and cafe mambo is about 45 minute walk away although there is a water taxi right outside the hotel for 5 euros which drops you across the bay about 5 minute walk from mambos. Ibiza town is about 45 mins away on a bus - 2.50 euros pp- definitely worth a visit, beautiful place. Sunbathing at the hotel - they open the doors to pool area at 9am so expect a small queue- recommend the upper deck for sun all day. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Just returned from here, and would definitely not go back, the hotel its self is ok. ‘Modernish’ with quite a pleasant outdoor/ pool area. It’s located at the far end of the bay and a good 30 min walk to the centre. Bedroom’s were a good size, clean and modern and a sea view is a nice thing, however, we payed for ‘full sea view’ and got a side sea view. The main things that let this place down are the reception staff , and the bar management.. took us 30 mins to check in .. painfully slow.. The 11pm ‘ last orders’ at the bar are ruthlessly implemented.. to a point where after queing at 10.55pm for a last drink, a couple of minutes later we were firmly told NO .. NO MORE.. by a very aggressive jumped up @@@@ ..clearly with ‘short person’ syndrome..a palm of the hand to the face and an arrogant dismissive wave.. before strolling off… we were clearly in time for a drink , but he shrugged .. The food here is poor , not much choice for breakfast, and the evening meal not much better , with ‘meat’ … yeah , could never figure out what it actually was … ‘ boingy’ .. probably best description :-( Lastly .. the ‘ cutting off’ of the wrist bands at 11am on checkout day also implemented ruthlessly, with a mixture of smugness , arrogance and a slightly brutal approach.. we checked out at 10am and they were removed then .. charging round the counter with a big pair of scissors.. this was the final straw, and that alone would stop us from returning. Get your act together Vibra, a couple of things ok, but many things bad .. staff training a ‘ must here’
