Buzzing hotel Great little hotel . Plenty of vibe .

Arrived Friday 11th October for the weekend for my daughters 18th birthday, I had emailed the hotel before and asked the to dress up the room, arrived no one knew nothing about this and the lady on reception apologised and said they were short staffed. The hotel is quirky and looks great for photos for Instagram but in reality it’s run down and dirty and seems the rooms are not repaired after been trashed, our patio had come off the runner, aircon broken, tv wires hanging out, not great at all! Many times throughout my stay I had to ask for a clean glass, when you’re paying €16 a drink this should be standard! They were serving cocktails in a gin glass half full. We didn’t check out until Monday morning but the hotel actually closed Sunday which we was not made aware of until we asked for a drink at about 5pm and was told they we closed, couldn’t even get a soft drink, surely they should have closed Monday when everyone checked out? The hotel was also full of druggies slummed around in corridors off their faces on balloons shouting until all hours, I get it’s a party hotel but seemed there was no one even in the hotel except 1 person on the last night so didn’t feel particularly safe! I have stayed on the island many times and there is much better hotels than this, think it needs a major clean up over the winter in my opinion.

What a disappointment! This should be a 1 star rating. It looks nothing like the instagram photos at all. We had no room clean or fresh towels for 2 days out of our 4 day stay, the towels they did give us stink of mould/mildew and couldn’t use them. Others in our group didn’t have a room clean their whole 4 days. The air con barely worked in our room and again had a horrid smell- others had rooms with no working air con or safe. The rooms were grubby and in desperate need of a renovation and deep clean!!! There was also no bar service after 10pm, not even for a bottle of water. For the money there are much better hotels and far better location to stay in - don’t be fooled by social media!!

The hotel is pretty to the eye, however it is very run down and quite dirty. The rooms are not like the pictures and is overpriced for the reality. Two lights were not working in the room, the door swipe cards did not work (they said a maintenance man would come, but didn’t come in the 4 days we were there). The shower tiles, door tracks and walls were all dirty. The food is inconsistent at the restaurant, one day was really nice and the next horrible. The staff were stood around talking and laughing at the bar and reception when people were waiting to take orders. There is no smoking in the bar/ restaurant however the staff seem to let everyone smoke. The hotel is a party hotel we know that, but the noises all night are unbearable. The rooms have really bad sound proofing. Loads of English party people slamming doors and screaming. As a whole the management needs to address a lot of things, but I guess they don’t need the money as the hotel seems to be booked out. ‍♂️ The cleaning staff for the rooms were really nice. Kind, sweet and always nice to talk with. Shame about the rest.

Stayed in this hotel in 2023 and it was fabulous, the staff were amazing. We stayed again in 2024 and the majority of the staff this year are appalling - no customer service skills and don’t appear to like doing work. On one occasion we sat in the restaurant and waited 20 mins for a server to appear as the staff were stood having a catch up and ignoring customers. There were only a handful of customers in the restaurant. There are only a handful of sunbeds and also a number of Bali beds. We did not have any issues in getting a sun bed last year. The hotel now repeatedly advertise and book out a significant amount of their bali beds to non -hotel customers which means, if you are staying at the hotel and don’t book a sun bed, you may not get one. On 2 occasions we could not get a sunbed at our own hotel because the member of staff at check in did not inform us we could pre-book sunbeds - again, poor customer service skills. The hotel also now needs work. There was mould growing on our shower ceiling, the kitchen unit skirting board was damaged, the beer bottle opener was hanging off the kitchen unit, the key card box outside was also hanging off the wall, there was makeup all over the dressing table chair and some lights which did not work. Given the price you pay to stay at this hotel, it needs maintenance. On check out, we had a late flight and made use of the shower facility. We asked for towels to get dried and the member of staff forgot and began checking in other customers. I went back to ask for towels again and she said she would ask the cleaner. The towels never arrived and I had to use some of my unworn clothing in my case to dry myself after a shower. When we checked out, there was no apology from this member of staff for forgetting the towels (twice). She did not make any conversation or ask how our holiday was etc.. We asked her to book a taxi. Her response was ‘yes, wait outside’. It’s amazing how poor staffing can completely ruin a hotel. I won’t be staying again after the poor service this year.
