Hotel Delle Palme

Premetto che adesso faccio più attenzione al rapporto Stelle/Servizi questo 4 stelle è sovrastimato. Nulia da obiettare sulla pulizia e servizi biancheria bagno e letto In bagno c'era il solito kit per doccia (cuffia/doccia/shampoo) mancavano gli spazzolini (stavolta necessario perché da me dimenticato il mio personale)comunque la mia richiesta è stata prontamente soddisfatta. Allora per un 4 stelle a mio parere non dovrei trovare: un televisore non fruibile dal letto perché il braccio non ruota in quel verso,la porta del bagno strusciava per terra rendendo difficoltosa la chiusura e l'apertura inoltre con rumore ,porta asciugamani rotti e non rimossi i supporti , vasca con doccia con tenda in plastica veramente da dimenticare.La porta della camera era storta ,non chiudendo bene lasciavoa trasparire la luce del corridoio . La colazione purtroppo non aveva lievitati freschi da pasticceria o forno locale , cornetti piccoli e altri prodotti probabilmente scongelati cotti al momento ma qualcuno anche crudo Per caffè e cappuccino servizio autonomo in fila lunga per utilizare le macchinette In un 4 stelle credo che la colazione sia il momento del godimento maggiore specie in posto dove ci sono specialità locali . Parcheggio comodo,vista bellissima,posto centrale ma hotel veramente old style e poco curato

We found this hotel last minute due to an alternative booking not fulfilling our expectations and the staff were excellent at accomodating us both in a refurbished double room with a garden view. The room itself is spacious as is the bathroom which has a hairdryer and toiletries provided daily. The hotel is very clean and the staff attentive, the pool area is immaculate and has a small bar with helpfull staff. Showers, toilets and changing room are behind the pool bar. The hotel is around 25 minutes by bus to Sorrento and the stops are around 100m outside the hotel gate. Tickets to the centre (1.5e) can be bought from the fruit shop opposite the gate. Food in the bar is very good and there is plenty of choice for breakfast, I have lactose free milk and the staff brought it fresh every day. Overall a fantsatic hotel in a great location.

Hôtel très sympathique avec un personnel attentif et serviable une belle piscine un restaurant correct et une situation assez proche des départs des croisières sur la côte almafitaine et vers capri donc une belle expérience dont nous garderons un bon souvenir

Hotel nella media che sente un po' il peso degli anni. Le camere andrebbero rinnovate nell'arredamento. Pulizia ok e personale molto gentile. La posizione è buona e anche la colazione non sfigura. Camere un po' piccole ma dotate di balconcino.

Het hotel ligt in een super leuk dropje waar het het ‘s avonds gezellig druk is en mooi uitziet. Wij hebben een enorm fijn verblijf gehad. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, het ontbijt is lekker, de kamer was fijn en schoon en het parkeren goed geregeld. Het is een mooi hotel in Italiaanse sferen en de tuinen zijn mooi aangelegd. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

I stayed at Delle Palme Hotel, 32 Sant Agata booked by Newmarket. This wasn’t my first choice as put Hotel Girasole in Sorrento as my first choice. I was disappointed initially but reassured that Delle Palme is a lovely hotel as well. It is like in the middle of nowhere and 30 minutes by bus into Sorrento - very dated and there wasn’t much choice with menu which had to be completed the day before. My small bedroom faced the overgrown gardens and swimming pool which was drained and closed- not a pretty sight from my little balcony.

The Delle Palme , is a dated hotel , the decor is aged and tired looking , our room was on the front top floor, the fire doors are wedged open , the room doors don't fit properly , gaps right round allowing light to come through , lighting up room through night , would never stop smoke , in the event of a fire, only one way out , in event of fire , that was down the main stairs over loaded electric points , electric points in bathroom , air conditioning was switching off, tripping out ,,,pillows very hard room overlooking the road , very busy and very noisy , didntbget a full nights sleep the whole week we were there , a large group came in last two nights we were there , in restaurant, we were made to feel we were a inconvenience, tables layer out nicely for them , ours were just basic , food had to be ordered night before , but the choices were poor , and not very well cooked , small spoon of potatoes , small spoon of vegetables, frozen vegetables , food not at all up to standard or presented nicely , pretty poor , for a country that prides itself on its cooking , didnt like much coming back to the hotel after the day trip,,sadly it put a downer on the whole holiday ,,,great day trips , poor hotel, with poor food, would I revisit this hotel again or recremmend it ??? Sadly not !!!

Beautiful traditional Italian hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. Lovely pool area serving snacks and drinks. Bus stops right outside the hotel for getting into Sorrento.
