Wir hatten einen wundervollen 7-tägigen Aufenthalt im Himmlhof in St. Anton. Ganz besonders ist das familiäre Miteinander: Die Gastgeberfamilie sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause fühlt. Der Wellnessbereich ist ein echtes Highlight – modern, stilvoll und sehr gepflegt, mit einer tollen Sauna zum Entspannen nach dem Skifahren. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen: reichhaltig, frisch und mit vielen regionalen Köstlichkeiten. Auch die Nachmittagsjause hat durch die liebevoll selbstgebackenen Spezialitäten überzeugt. Unser Zimmer war großzügig eingerichtet, blitzsauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man spürt, dass hier Qualität und Wohlfühlatmosphäre an erster Stelle stehen. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

The Himmlhof is a world class Hotel with a family vibe that makes it exceptionally unique and special! The location in St Anton is great, just a step off the beaten path, which gives you the feeling of solitude yet steps away from the slopes and all the culinary pleasures and excitement of a diverse cross section of locals and tourists with high spirits. The hotel is beautiful, the food is outstanding (how they do this day after day is a marvel!), the amenities divine, but most importantly, the Penz family, owners of the establishment, are the warmest, kindest people you will ever meet!! It was our second year and we enjoyed ourselves immensely! We will never forget our trip to the Himmlhof , and skiing the slopes of St Anton Arlberg … and to our delight, the Penz family will never forget the troubled twins from Oregon, Maree & Dee ⛷️

Our family of 5 spent a week at the lovely Himmlhoff in March while we in St Anton for a ski vacation. This was our first trip to St Anton and we will be back and return to the Himmlhoff (the hotel was recommended to us by some friends who had stayed there years ago and we'll recommend it to our friends)! This small hotel is run by a family that is the epitome of friendly, gracious and helpful. They assisted me with a lot of plans - ski rentals, ski tickets, ski guide and restaurants, which made organizing very easy. The delicious breakfasts of yummy bread, pastries, coffee, cheeses, yogurt, eggs, etc. and afternoon tea of delightful cake and other goodies gave us a great start to the day and an enjoyable way to reenergize after a day on the slopes. The Himmlhoff even surprised me with the most delicious chocolate cake on my birthday. The rooms had comfy beds, were very clean and all in all just lovely. While I didn't partake, all the other members of my family tried the cold plunge and raved about it. The Himmlhoff is just minutes away from the slopes via a pedestrian walk.

This was by far one of the most remarkable hospitality experiences we have ever had. The interior design is luxurious, elegant and comfortable: the definition of quiet luxury. The spa you could spend all day in it’s so beautiful and well equipped (Cold plunge, two saunas, steam room room, pool and more !). Breakfast is glorious and one of the best in Europe with focus on local ingredients and recipes. The afternoon tea & cake hour is a fantastic way to wind down after a day on the slopes. The service is extraordinary : by far this is what’s most special about staying here — they go well above and beyond…with everything ! The rooms are spacious and have large windows and also large wardrobes for storing all your stuff. I really can only say: you need to experience this place to understand how good a hospitality experience can truly be. And the location/ proximity to chairlifts, gondolas, restaurants etc is perfect- could not be more convenient / easy. We will be back!

There is simply nothing to fault at this beautiful family-run hotel. The Penz family are true locals, with incredible genuine warmth and friendship given to all guests. The rooms are very well appointed and excellent size, with comfortable beds, and seperate bathroom and toilets. Breakfast and afternoon tea was included (which was absolutely massive and delicious - a shout out to Kiwi baking chef Milly!) was another highlight. If you are going to Sant Anton make the Himmlhof your home away from home and you won’t regret it. Thank you Family Penz for a fantastic stay, see you next year!

Hotel Himmlhof is a magical, bespoke, boutique hotel nestled beautifully in a quiet street, close to all that St Anton has to offer. From the moment you arrive the family Penz give the warmest welcome, they open their arms and their hotel to you. It is clear that for the family, and their amazing team, no effort is too great. Each room is packed with traditional Austrian charm. Wooden floorboards, historic panelling, an open fire in the lounge and comfortable sofas all make this a perfect choice to relax after a busy day on the slopes. This is a hidden gem that we can’t recommend highly enough. We have stayed here twice already and can't wait to return again next year.

I had a wonderful vacation at the Himmlhof Hotel with my two adult children. The Penz family and the entire team were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is marvelous, with stunning design throughout—the public areas, rooms, and the magnificent spa are absolutely amazing. The breakfast is simply the best I’ve ever had! This was my second stay, the first being in 2022, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for another fantastic experience!

The hotel is truly beautiful! Not only is it cozy and comforting, but the Penz family makes Himmelhof feel like home! The interior has been designed with great love for detail. The snack time in the Stube has been a regular daily highlight! The hotel is perfectly located in the center of St.Anton, making it very accessible to all different mountains, restaurants and shopping options. It was our 5th time coming to Himmelhof, and we can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you so much! Helena & Christiana
