Sanibel Inn

The new rebuilt Sanibel Inn was beautiful. Our room was oceanfront. We stepped out on the balcony and could see the waves coming onto the beach. The grounds werw beautifully maintained. The pool was great.

I just returned from an unforgettable 12 day vacation at Sanibel Inn, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. This was my first time visiting, and despite the challenges caused by Hurricane Ian, the resort is in spectacular condition—it looks brand new, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, relaxing getaway. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how breathtaking the resort is. The landscaping is immaculate, with lush greenery and colorful blooms framing the property. Everywhere you look, it’s like something out of a postcard. The pool area is simply gorgeous, surrounded by tropical palms, and it feels like a peaceful oasis. It’s hard not to be in awe of the view. The rooms were equally impressive—modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job every day, ensuring that everything was perfect. My bed was always made to perfection, and I was always greeted with fresh towels and little touches that made my stay feel extra special. It was so refreshing to know I could come back to a beautifully maintained room after a day out exploring. Speaking of exploring, the resort offers bikes for guests to borrow, which is a fantastic perk. I took full advantage of the bikes to explore the island’s incredible trails. The trails are well-maintained. The beach itself is another highlight. The beach crew truly elevated the experience. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The team greeted me with a smile, gave me fresh towels, and set up beach chairs and umbrellas—so I didn’t have to worry about hauling anything down to the sand. They made the whole beach experience effortless and stress-free, and I felt completely taken care of. I also have to mention the resort’s staff in general—they were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. Every interaction felt warm and welcoming, and I could tell they truly cared about making my stay as perfect as possible. Despite the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian, the resort has done an incredible job with repairs and maintenance, and it’s clear they’ve invested in ensuring everything is up to the highest standard. It was impossible not to be amazed by how pristine and well-kept everything was, from the buildings to the grounds. It’s a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff. All in all, I can’t recommend Sanibel Inn enough. It’s a perfect blend of natural beauty, luxury, and heartfelt service. I can’t wait to come back!

Sanibel Inn has been our family's 'go to' place for many years. We were so excited to be able to return this year! This year we reserved 3 of the 2 BR condos for a week for our family. The renovated condos were really nice and comfortable. The staff is awesome from reservations to check-in to the beach guys to housekeeping. It is obvious they have great leadership to perform with such consistency and excellence. The property is beautiful, right on the gulf. The renovations since Hurricane Ian have made the property even better! Can't wait until next year. A special shout out to Kayla who made sure our family was located close together, to Ryan and Fin who helped us all check in at various times and to Tyrone, Jorge and Leon at the beach who took care of our entire family with outstanding service. Mr. Wellman and the entire team have done a fantastic job!

Excellent weekend at Sanibel Inn!From the staff at check in (super friendly and very accommodating) to the staff at the pool area and bar. Great food, spacious room and all is fully renovated. We got a room with a beach view and it was excellent, Thank you and we will come back for sure.

I've been going to the Sanibel In for years and missed it terribly for the last two and a half years waiting for the re-build but the wait was so worth it! The upgrades and remodel are A-1 and they missed nothing. Every comfort is there for your use. Quality of appliances, furniture, bedding is superb! Staff is as kind and considerate and thoughtful as they've always been. Nothing changed their spirit and love of the island. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Sanibel Inn is absolutely beautiful. The restoration after the hurricane has been executed to perfection. We enjoyed a first floor beach view suite with a magnificent view from our screened in balcony- although it is first floor, it is elevated. Tye unit was immaculate and very roomy. The landscaping should be in a magazine, beauty every where you look. The bar area had good entertainment in the afternoons and the beach chair and umbrella set up guys were courteous. This will probably be our new Sanibel “go to” place.
