Hemos pasado un fin de semana. Todo limpio, está reformada,nos atendió un chico muy amable a la llegada. La cama muy cómoda. Tienen a disposición de los clientes té o café las 24 horas. Si volvemos a la ciudad no dudaremos en volver a reservar ahí. La ubicación es perfecta,en el centro de la ciudad

We asked for a quiet room and got one facing a big shop's delivery bay so lots of scraping metal, loud noises early in the morning. One night there was a noisy pop-up bar in the same street. Guests coming in late at night are like a stampede. Even with earplugs it was very audible. You can hear everthing, no soundproofing at all. The so called luxury double room at a whopping 189€ per night not including breakfasts is smallish and worse for wear and tear especially the small bathroom. The water leaked from the toilet, the hook on which the hairdryer was hung up, broke off one night. It fell to the ground and woke us up. You have to pay at arrival and not traditionally when you check out...now we know why. On the plus side: friendly staff, rather clean and good location. But Donostia is small and very easy to walk around so most places are well located. Maybe it's because we're a bit older (fifties/sixties) that we are more sensitive to these things but it also means we've stayed at much better places at this price. In Bilbao we stayed in a very good, quiet 4 star hotel in the city centre at less than in La Perla so I would suggest you stay in Bilbao and take the bus to San Sebastian at 14€ for a 75 minute ride and save money for a much better and cheaper accommodation in Bilbao.

Excelente ubicación en pleno centro de San Sebastián, a pocos minutos caminanado a la playa y a la zona comercial. Zona peatonal, rodeada de comercios de todo tipo. Excelentes instalaciones y muy buena atención. Al ser una pensión no todo el día existe personal de consulta. A 200 metros se encuentra ubicado otro alojamiento por si surge alguna urgencia. Todo esto está indicado en la recepción. Está en un piso alto que se accede mediante ascensor. La habitación tiene microondas y frigobar. En la recepción siempre hubo café, té y hervidor disponibles. La higiene se realiza en forma matutina y fue impecable.

La Perla is a perfect place to stay while in San Sebastian. Comfy, clean rooms, affordable rates, discount on parking in nearby parking house. La Perla is located 1 minute from the cathedral in the middle of the city, 1 minute from a great food market, 5 minutes from La Concha Beach and 10 minutes walk from an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. I’ve visited San Sebastian 3 times during the last 35 years, and I wouldn’t dream of staying other places than in Pension La Perla; it’s my home here.

Easy online check-in, very central location, very clean, rooms cleaned as asked. Nice to have 2 kettles available, tho wld far rather this in my room. Grt to have fridge. Very friendly welcome but I think the map with pintxo bars recommendations is not needed and possibly ties in with their own interests?? Tbh the old town bars were rammed and not worth the bother. We found some great ones just over the bridge, far more chilled and check out cafeteria Thomas gros. For the price, I think breakfast shld be included. V small room and bathroom. Extremely hot and needed fan on in the night. Cld not avoid having windows open and that's the main issue :noise. Many people walking by, talking, shouting into the hours of 2, 3, 4 am then street cleaning lorries! Not ideal at all.

La habitación es aceptable, aunque todo muy pequeño y encimado. El baño es lo más incómodo, muy pequeño. La ubicación es linda, cerca de la Catedral del Buen Pastor con tiendas, restaurantes y calles peatonales muy próximos.

Muy acogedor, limpio y con una decoración muy detallista. Una habitación pequeña pero muy bien equipada: microondas, nevera, platos, cubiertos, tazas... incluso leche, infusiones y magdalenas. Una habitación con mucha luz y vistas a la bonita ciudad. La cama muy cómoda y amplia. El personal súper atento. La ubicación excelente, en pleno corazón de San Sebastián. No tiene pérdida porque está al lado de la catedral y desde cualquier punto de la ciudad lo localizas. Sin ninguna duda, lo recomiendo!
