Finca Luna Nueva Lodge

Amazing experience! Incredible food, everything was so fresh and flavorful. The freshness and care put into the cocktails was also amazing. You have to try the Bloody Mary and the Fresh Ginger and Ginger Bomb drinks. The kids loved the banana smoothie and the fresh home made made ice cream. The excursions and tours were must try - and the staff definitely curates that experience to the group so they're all worth trying. Is it time to go back yet???

Finca Luna Nueva was absolute magic. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff warm and welcoming—especially Byron with his amazing Bloody Mary mix! The tours were exciting and educational, with plenty of solo hiking to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like home. The only downside? Having to leave and return to reality. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve never been on a better vacation in my life! Everything about the lodge is so magical. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really felt like family. The food was the absolute best! So flavorful and so clean! It was a sad day coming home! Can’t wait to come back!

I cannot recommend this place enough!! It is so great! The way that they take care of the earth is amazing. We originally booked a tour to learn about the bees, but due to a time conflict we ended up taking a tour of the entire farm instead. Melina at the front desk was so kind to us and extremely helpful! We loved talking with her. Then we went on our tour with Alberto who was so knowledgeable about all of the plants, fruits and processes on the farm. The tour was one of our favorite activities! Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely nice and knowledgeable! Our favorite person may have been the gardener (I forgot his name, I’m so sorry, but we loved him) who could see that we were super interested in the animals and took time out of his day to show my husband and I pictures & videos of other animals they have seen at the farm & told us information about them. He even took us down to another spot to see more baby sloths. We hope that in the future we are able to visit again and stay at the lodge during our trip!

We stayed 5 nights in one of the family bungalows. The food and staff were amazing. The fresh salads every night at the buffet were so good! Kids loved the pool. My husband and I and our oldest (who’s 8) did the mystery tour and night and that was so cool! We saw so much. Durning the day we saw so many birds and a sloth or two! The grounds were beautiful. My only complaint is that the bungalows were pretty close to one another and you could hear everything, including the air conditioner of the other units at night. It was also kind of hard not having a sitting area in the bungalow- we couldn’t play games or anything. But overall it was still amazing. Still a 5 star experience.

Wondering people. Wonderful property. Peaceful and family friendly. The nature is beautiful and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the special place they have cultivated. The bird watching was great, as was just wandering through the property. They deluxe cabinas were excellent!
