Il Miraggio in Val d'Orcia Relais & Spa

We Celebrated our 39th Anniversary and were treated like Family by everyone there, we had amazing food, wine, conversation, laughter and an absolutely tranquil time! We want to say that this will be our go to when we return again! All our regards to our new found friends!!

L'hotel è una vera meraviglia: intimo, arredato con gusto squisito e situato in una posizione tranquilla e rilassante, che regala un panorama magnifico. Si tratta di un antico casale lussuosamente ristrutturato, a soli due minuti dal centro di San Quirico d'Orcia. Il personale si è dimostrato impeccabile: attento e incredibilmente gentile, dalla reception al servizio in ristorante. La colazione, seppur non vastissima nella varietà, offre prodotti di ottima qualità capaci di accontentare ogni palato. Nel complesso, abbiamo riscontrato un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo: siamo stati benissimo e consigliamo vivamente la struttura. Per contribuire a rendere l'esperienza davvero perfetta, vorrei condividere due critiche costruttive: Il Ristorante: La cucina è buona, ma a nostro avviso non eccezionale in rapporto ai prezzi richiesti. Sebbene le tariffe siano in linea con l'eleganza e il contesto della struttura, ci si aspetterebbe una qualità delle portate leggermente superiore per essere pienamente all'altezza. Ricarica Auto Elettriche: Apprezziamo la presenza di una colonnina di ricarica gratuita. Tuttavia, è molto lenta (circa 4 kW/h) e, soprattutto, il suo utilizzo è libero e non gestito dalla struttura. Questo significa che chi arriva per primo e collega l'auto la occupa per tutta la notte, lasciando gli altri ospiti senza possibilità di ricarica. Personalmente, una notte sono riuscito a caricare, la successiva purtroppo no. Suggerirei di aggiungere altre colonnine o di installarne di più potenti. Inoltre, sarebbe utile che la reception gestisse un sistema di turnazione – magari custodendo le chiavi delle auto in carica per alternarle – al fine di garantire un uso più equo ed evitare abusi. Ad esempio, alle 9:00 del mattino l'auto di un ospite era già completamente carica e ferma sulla postazione, mentre lui era tranquillamente in camera e io non potevo avviare la ricarica. Nonostante questi due appunti, che vogliono essere solo spunti di miglioramento, il nostro soggiorno è stato splendido. È un posto assolutamente raccomandabile e ci torneremo volentieri: manca davvero pochissimo per raggiungere la perfezione assoluta.

Hospitality tra le peggiori di sempre ( e lo faccio di lavoro) A novembre Viaggio sempre per lavoro in giro per le regioni d Italia ( avendo un tour operator di incoming ) alla scoperta di nuove strutture per i miei clienti stranieri. Purtroppo questa struttura ha rovinato il mio soggiorno in Val d Orcia. Personale davvero polemico e ancora peggio: un receptionist stava sparlando di me ( senza che lui vedesse che ero lì) con una signora delle pulizie! Perché avevo chiesto se fosse possibile chiedere a delle famiglie con bambini ( 6 bambini che correvano in continuazione e che purtroppo non ci facevano riposare) di moderare un po’ le grida. ( come noi quella sera c’erano altri ospiti altrettanto alterati per lo stesso motivo). Colazione davvero scadente ( allego alcune foto) per la tipologia di hotel che dovrebbe essere. Ed è un peccato perché in Toscana ci sono tantissime prelibatezze! Ero stata il giorno prima in un relais a Bibbona ( Livorno!) ed era un sogno! Un vero piacere per L anima.. cosa che qui purtroppo non è stato. Nessuna scusa ne nulla. Struttura cara! 6€ per una coca cola mini ( allego conto degli extra). Mi pare davvero un po’ eccessivo. Oltre il fatto che nessuno si è mai scusato per le figure fatte dal personale magari proponendo un piccolo sconto ( anche simbolico degli extra presi ) sarebbe stato un gesto cortese.. peccato perché ho una rete molto vasta di contatti qui e sicuramente non raccomanderò più questa struttura.

Location SPAZIALE con cura dei minimi dettagli dalla colazione all’arredamento delle stanze. SPA molto ben equilibrata e personale qualificato. Consigliato per un weekend rilassante in Val d’Orcia. Tornerò sicuramente e se avrò modo proverò il ristorante all’interno. A presto !

Vanaf het moment dat je aan komt rijden overweldigd dit exclusieve 5*hotel gelegen bij het pittoreske San Quirico d’Orcia! Met 14 uniek en klassiek ingerichte kamers, een 4-tal heerlijke terrassen waarvan 1 met een schitterend zicht op de Tuscany Sun Set een absolute aanrader. Als kers op de taart het top restaurant met o.a. bediening van Gian Luca, niets is te gek! Een heerlijke tuin rondom het zwembad maakt het geheel compleet. Een must visit als je in de buurt van Pienza bent.

I wish we could give this place 6 stars, we truly had an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed our three nights immensely and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. Upon arrival, Mariana took the time to walk us around the property and at each turn was another breath taking view. We enjoyed relaxing at the gorgeous pool and an attendant was constantly checking to see if we needed anything (including our welcome drink we enjoyed lounging by the pool). The room we selected was extremely spacious and overlooked the pool and spa. The couch was a great place to enjoy a drink and the bed was extremely comfortable. We almost felt like royals with the decor and fancy furnishings. A few things to dive into further: Breakfast. The options for breakfast seem endless and everything tastes so fresh and homemade. I barely needed lunch we indulged so much during breakfast. We enjoyed meats, cheeses and a whole array of breads, along with fresh fruits, rotating pastries (croissants, muffins, etc.). It was probably the best breakfast we had during our two weeks in Italy. Special shout out to Luca, the master of pretty much everything at the hotel! He was our waiter in the morning, worked at the bar the night before. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and just an overall gem of a human being. We loved chatting with him about his family and the local area since he was from the area. Dinner. Our compliments to the chef. Everything was just singing on our palette no matter what we tried. We started with the burrata and tomato appetizer which was so fresh. Even something as simple as their breadsticks were the SO flavorful and the best we tasted. For our mains, my mom got the homemade egg tagliatelle with ragù sauce and I got the gnocchi special in a homemade red sauce. Both were phenomenal. Our waiter, Lorenzo, paired our meals with wines which were the perfect accompaniment. It was a little on the pricy side, but given how delicious everything it was highly worth it. The spa. Please I beg of you, if you are going to try anything at this wonderful hotel, please try the spa. Irina is an angel of a human and so incredibly passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. I’ll be honest I had never done the sauna / ice bath experience and was a bit of a skeptic. Irina walked us through exactly what each benefit was to each service and then you essentially get the spa to yourselves for an hour. I went with the “relax” option and my body felt so wonderful after this spa treatment. It was so good we went back everyday. We also had booked a massage and Irina provided frankly the best massage of my life. I felt like a new woman leaving there, Irina really tailored the massage to my liking and I could have cried tears of joy walking out, my body was relieved of all the tension and knots that come with traveling. My mom has some trouble with one of her legs going numb, Irina not only provided her with a cream to stimulate the area but my mom left her massage i
