Caribbean Villas Hotel

Super cozy rooms with a really great view of the ocean. This particular hotel is right on the beach which is perfect. The beds are comfy and the staff were super helpful, professional and friendly. Rooms come with a fridge and there are 2 pools in the property.

Caribbean Villas is a good value for the rate and has a friendly staff that was very communicative and helpful during my stay. It doesn’t have many extras, but it’s clean and has a great location. Plus, there is a brand new grocery store and coffee shop right at end of driveway. The sargassum was pretty high when I was there. They actually have a beach and not just a sea wall so it collects a little more. They try to remove it daily. Overall, great value for the money.

Was looking for a place to chill out and relax, and this hotel provided exactly that. A 5 minute drive south of San Pedro. Less congestion and crowds on the street around the property. Spacious room with good air conditioning, wifi, and refrigerator. Drinking water tanks available all over the property. Room has a spacious balcony overlooking the pool and beach area. Two pools are available and provide plenty of space for all to enjoy. All the staff were extremely friendly. The grounds team does an incredible job each day raking leaves, seaweed, and keeping the property tidy.

Great place. Priced well. Staff amazing. Clean rooms. Good food at restaurant on property. Pools clean and well maintained. Rent golf cart to get around. M&K right across the street. Make sure to visit Black & White for dinner- right across the street. Garifuna cultural center- great food and experience. 2nd visit to property.

My husband and I just got back from staying here for a week. We really liked it! It is nothing fancy but the rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. One of the pools wasn't working but they fixed it within a day. We loved Glen and Daniel the two bartenders. Make sure to try a Cranbarrel (One Barrel rum, sprite and splash of cranberry juice). We rented a golf cart for the week from AYA golf rental, which in one block from the airport. The food was good at our resort, but we like to go out and experience other places. All of the food we had was amazing. Some of the places we went to are Maxie's (a little bit fancy), Nauti Crab (the crab races were fun), Lily's Treasure Chest, 303, Palapa (very fun, you can float on innertubes there), La Sandedrana, and Farmhouse. A must to do is to go to Secret Beach! It's about a half hour golf cart ride. The beach was very nice and there are several bar/restaurants to go to. We loved that there was no one there trying to sell you a time share. I would recommend dressing very casual, unless you want to search out the fancier restaurants. It was very hot, humid and windy when we were there, so I didn't worry about doing my hair. San Pedro downtown is very busy so if you're looking for something low key, go to the north side of the island. We felt very safe the entire time there. They take US dollars so don't trade your money.

The staff was really friendly and sweet. The rooms were clean as well as the pools. The view of the beach was gorgeous. Wasn’t too far from stores (definitely would still recommend a golf cart though). Oh and the banana bread was really good too!

This has been an exceptional charming place for our family of 5 to stay (2 adults, 3 children ages 14 - 12). Very chill, beachside to easily walk into the warm blue waters to wade and swim, palm trees and well tended garden scape, two pools, outdoor games (cornhole, pool table), shade too and a grand palapa to eat casually, dine or beverage throughout the day and evening (food is excellent). Exceptionally friendly, responsive and helpful local staff before we arrived in planning and since being here, including help with arrangements for snorkeling or mainland excursions. What I like most about this hotel is how it feels local, not a "fancified" version of Belize, certainly clean, safe and good quality. We are in the Eagle's Nest villa that fits our family of 5 well, with a small kitchen, living room, newly refinished mahogany wood cabinetry and vaulted ceiling, plus a loft and views from the second story balcony. Oh the views! You can walk or run along the stretch of beach, just a 20 min walk beach side to other restaurants in San Pedro. Though close, it's worth getting a golf cart to go further into town and on the island. Boats for snorkeling pick you up right at the hotel dock which also has a lovely outdoor spa (Ocean Essence) after a day of sun and activity.

This hotel is a great location and cleanliness for a solo 60s female. Staff was great. Receptionist/front desk was excellent. Fridge and safe in room was helpful. I bought a few items for snacks/ small meals and drinks. I felt very safe and comfortable.

If you are looking for a beach experience but value, this is a great option. We stayed in a Hawk's Roost suite, ample space for our family of 4 adults. The room is budget, but it was clean and had the amenities we needed for our 3-night stay. There were bugs but I'd expect them based upon the location. The resort staff was fantastic, we loved interacting with so many of them. They arranged a golf cart rental, snorkel excursion, and transportation to the airport for us. We had a maintenance issue, and it was addressed within 10 minutes of us notifying reception. The Beach Bar on property was fantastic - great food (both breakfast and dinner) and drinks.
