Hotel & Suites Vayor

I had a great two week stay at Hotel Vayor. Good location close to beaches and restaurants, bars. Easy walk to Centro. Hotel was clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

estuvimos 4 noches hospedados en la suite principal del hotel y es enorme, le caben hasta 19 personas, tiene una cocina incluida, 2 baños, Smart tv, aire acondicionado, instalaciones muy cuidadas y un personal super amable. Si rentas la suite principal puedes rentarla por partes (osea que no es a fuerzas que rentes todo lo que ofrecen) (también rentan habitaciones más sencillas para grupos reducidos o viajes personales), nosotros fuimos en temporada baja, solo rentamos una parte y nos costó $1,000 pesos mexicanos por noche para 5 personas. El hotel esta ubicado a escasas cuadras de la playa y se puede llegar caminando al centro de Melaque en menos de 10 minutos, esta en una zona sin ruido ni cúmulos de turistas, así que si buscas un experiencia relajada este hotel es una excelente opción (si no es que la mejor por la calidad precio).

Great option for a budget bungalow in Melaque First off, the staff/owners of the hotel are excellent! They are very kind and accommodating. This is a budget hotel so travelers should not expect anything fancy. This hotel definitely met our expectations. The family room/bungalow includes a room with a futon, bar area table with four chairs, a full size (small) fridge, two burners, a toaster, blender, sink and microwave. Some plates, cooking utensils, cups and pots and pans are also provided. The bedroom is separated from the kitchen by a curtain. The bed is queen size and as is typical in Mexico, very firm. The pillows exceeded my expectations. Three large, soft pillows were provided. Another thing that exceeded my expectations was the shower. The hot water was very hot and there was a lot of water pressure. The shower is separate from the toilet and a lot of toilet paper was provided. The AC worked very well. The hotel is two short blocks from the "arches" in Melaque. You can access the beach within 2 blocks. The door to access the room/bungalow is a sliding glass door that locks. However, this did not make me feel unsafe or worried about our belongings.

This hotel was a great find. Very clean very nice people. Highly recommend this anyone that doesn't want to surprise at hotel. I could not have been happier.

Vayor Hotel, Melaque, Mexico. After booking this hotel, which said it was a Pay at Property, I was charged $892. on my credit card. I contacted ******* right away. They looked into it, tried calling the hotel several times, either the phone wasn't answered and when they did get through, were hung up on the minute they spoke in English. Same when I tried. ******* tried several times to reach them, no luck. ******* then said they would cancel the booking and said Vayors policy was to refund full amount, which Vayor has not done. This was all back in April, it is now July. I contacted my credit card company who are now investigating and will charge this amount back to the hotel upon completion. This is not the only time this hotel has done this to a customer. There are reviews telling the same story. There is something very wrong with the way this hotel does business. I needed to warn other customers of these crooked dealings. Don't book at this hotel. There are other places you can book that are honest.
