Lovely and cozy hotel, very closed to center and peacful & quiet,good for sleep...especially i enjoyed spa and sauna ad well in chile night,much comfortable...the most important is hamdsome Facundo who is very smart,profeddional and nice person who gives me lots of helps including in search one day tour, design travel routes and book bus tickets to Bariloche.....i do appreciate for his help and suggestions and for sure come again and highly recommamded Le Chatelet!.

Great place

We only stayed at Le Chatelet for one night as we were getting an early bus to Pucon in Chile the next day, but for an overnight stay it was just fine for us. The location is good as others have said as it's right in town & walkable to the beach, restaurants etc. We also enjoyed relaxing in the nice little garden & small pool in the afternoon. All the staff at the front desk were very friendly, spoke great English & were helpful. The only slight downside is that for the price paid, the rooms & bed are quite small and a little dated in terms of décor. Of course this is an old hotel, so it's perhaps to be expected, but it wouldn't hurt to spruce it up a bit to bring it back to it's glory days. Unfortunately we can't comment on the breakfast as we had to leave very early the next morning to catch at 6:30 bus, but the staff did very kindly warm up some coffee for us & left out some bread to make toast with jam etc, which was very much appreciated. Overall for a single night we had a nice stay & would still recommend the hotel if you manage expectations.

Le Chatelet is highly recommended. Frankly there is nothing exceptional but the hotel it is very comfortable and well located in the town. We had problems on the first night due to excessive noise but the more than polite staff resolved this problem with ease. Parking is also a problem with this hotel but again the staff were aware of this and solved our concerns. This was a a highly recommend hotel for its comfort and professionalism.

4 of us booked this hotel, because we have a biking tour the next day. They were very good at getting back to us and booking taxis for us the next day. Upon arriving, there was a bit of commotion at the front desk when a mom and daughter were coming in. We didn't think much of it. The front desk clerk was very helpful when we asked if we could use the lounge area for wine and snacks. Very relaxing after a good walk thru town. We had room 110, which is not a huge bedroom, but very clean. The bathroom, however is pretty tiny. Need to close the door to use the toilet or reach for the towels. The bed however, was very comfortable, along with the pillows. There is a fan above the bed. But at 11:30, at night, we were awakened by a women screaming in the room next to us. It kept up, and we called down to the front desk. They came and tried to calm the women, but it kept up. Thankfully, the front desk gave us a room on 3rd floor to sleep in for the night. We just grabbed our robes and went up. That bed was just as comfortable, but with no fan. But the whole night was a bit alarming, to say the least. Hard to sleep after being woke up. The breakfast was fine, good coffee and various sweets and bread.

This unique property, with quaint rooms, is walking distance to eateries, chocolate tasting, outdoor markets, and the awesome lake.

No A/C and no thermostat or room temp control My room was quite dated and rather small. I had to move the bed so there was enough room for the chair to fit in front of the small desk. The worst thing is that there is no air conditioning in the hotel or the rooms. There is also no control for heating the room. They have central air for the entire hotel, so whatever temperature they set it at, you're stuck with it. At one point, when I was already a little too warm, they turned on the heat and the room felt like a sauna. I had to open the window and turn on the fan. At least they have a fan in the room. The location is good, but I would not stay here again.

Hôtel sympathique et bien placé et confortable Bon hôtel, personnel sympathique et serviable. En plein centre mais assez calme. Chambre confortable et propre, bon petit déjeuner.

Muy bien ubicada y extraordinario servicio. Restaurantes muy buenos a “walking distance”.

El Cruce Hotel bem localizado, próximo a restaurantes, sorveteria. A equipe muito solicita e sempre diaposta a ajudar. Cafe da manha muito bom. A única observação é que o restaurante nao funcionava para almoço, lanche ou jantar.
