We went there last April 14, 2022 (Lenten season) for a day swimming in the beach of Laiya. Most of the resorts are fully booked for the lenten. Prior to our tour, we watched vlogs from youtube. What convinced me to book here was that aside from the beach, it has a beautiful swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. I booked 2 cottages for 15pax, worth 7k. When we were in San Juan, we were directed to pass by the Municipal Tourism booth to pay for ecological fee of 20php per head. They are fully coordinated with the resort managements saying they don't accept walk-ins who doesn't pass by their municipal booth. Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted by Ms. Tonet and we were directed to the cottages far away from the pool but near by the walkway to the beach. (From the resort we have to walk for 3 minutes to reach the beach). Mam Tonet asked a man to guide our guests to the beach and a good thing because he never left the guests. He also became the lifeguard for their guests. The cottages that they gave us were obviously been there in ages. There were many flies because of the trash that former guests left. Somehow, they told us that their resort have an ongoing renovation. There were tall trees and grasses in the way to the beach and the walk is kind of bumpy for kids and seniors. Hopefully they can put cemented walkway to the beach. And please clean the trash that have been piled up near the walkway. The beach was shared with the guests of different resorts surrounded Severina's. The beach is okay, waves are somewhat uneven because of the storm that passed. Although the beach have been lively, there were many tourists and island hopping activities that I think those are way overpriced compared to Coron and El Nido. Overall, I rated it 3 out of 5 stars because I know that they (management) are doing their best effort to provide an accomodating experience to their guests. Severina's have a big potential if the resort is well maintained and cleaned.
