Hotel Emma at Pearl on the Riverwalk

The Hotel Emma is the best hotel at which we have stayed in our many years of travel. The staff, from our drive to the front door to our departure three days later, was geared to making our stay memorable. No request was unanswered and everyone bent over backward to ensure we were well taken care of. The hotel itself is well appointed with a great deal of history. (Be sure to take the free Hotel Emma History Tour!) The food in the restaurant is exquisite and the waitstaff is excellent. The bartenders make absolutely wonderful mixed drinks. The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, great amenities, and turn-down service every evening by the housekeeping staff. The location is perfect in the heart of the Pearl district of San Antonio. The area is full of restaurants, shops, a market square, etc. Our entire stay was memorable and we truly enjoyed our visit. We will be back for our next "staycation." (We live 35 miles from San Antonio.) Make The Hotel Emma your destination next ime you visit San Antonio.

We had Lunch/brunch! It was a birthday celebration! The food was amazing! We all had different food items! Our waitress Valarie was awesome! The dessert was delicious! The resturant was clean! And we truly return to order the best chicken voted in SA!

Simply put, the experience is not best in class, it is a class above. It starts at the valet stand and continues through every guest touchpoint. The staff are energetic, warm and take obvious pride in their duties. There are small touches everywhere but most impressive is the use of our surname by just about everyone we encountered during checking.

The hotel is beautiful, historical and very comfortable. But the best part of the experience was the incredible staff, and their amazing service! From the moment we stepped out of our car for valet parking all the way to checkout, we were treated with warmth and genuine concern for our comfort. Thank you!

Perfection! valet, front desk, bellman, hostess, bartender, server, turndown and room service all were very professional and friendly. We loved celebrating our anniversary at emma! Wonderful stay, great ambience, and the precinct is a joy of food, boutique stores, and entertainments. Very much recommended. We spent a lot of time in and around the hotel grounds, with so many lunch and dinner options. The local market on Sunday morning was a treat.
