Sam's Bungalows and Treks

因為是第一次計劃做叢林徒步的行程，也不太瞭解bukit lawang的狀況，最初衹是訂了一晚，遇到Sam後，通過聊天，感覺這是一個靠譜的老闆，行程也挺有趣，於是果斷延住了幾個晚上

We stayed at Sam's Bungalow for 4 days and had an amazing time. It is situated at the end of the village which is the best and offers stunning views of the river and also jungle where you can see a lot of monkey activities. Because of it's location at the end of the village you have a great spot to go into the river (there is also a little waterfall). The Bungalows are spacious, beautiful and clean with a great terrace (stunning views and once suring our stay visited by a monkey). The bed is very comfy! Also our children's extra bed was great. We were warmly welcomed and felt so much at home from day one. It is a family run business and you will truely live a local experience. Sam as well as the rest of his crew go out of their way to make your stay a magnificent one. We booked our trekking tour with them and had all of our meals there, too! I recommend it 100% 👌

Sam’s Bungalows is a fantastic place. I stayed here several nights. The room was incredible, with a big comfy bed, very spacious and clean, nice bathroom, and great balcony with hammock and chairs. The homestay is situated by the river and has a lovely restaurant which serves delicious food with generous portions right by the water. I spent one evening in the restaurant chatting to the owner Sam and his wife who were both incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and taught me about the area and orangutans. PLEASE NOTE TRIP ADVISOR HAS GOT THE LOCATION FOR THIS HOMESTAY WRONG. IT IS IN BUKIT LAWANG IN A PERFECT SPOT TO ENTER THE JUNGLE, SO IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A HOMESTAY WITH TREKKING OPTIONS, THIS IS PERFECT

Hemos pasado dos noches en Sam's Bungalows. Todo lo que puedo decir es que ha sido mi estancia preferida durante todo nuestro viaje. Sam y toda su plantilla nos han cuidado desde el principio. Nuestro vuelo se retrasó y el conductor nos esperó. Llegamos tarde a Bukit Lawang tarde y nos vinieron a buscar en moto, siempre con una sonrisa. La localización del alojamiento es la mejor de Bukit Lawang. Está al final del pueblo con vistas impresionantes del río y la selva. Los Bungalows son preciosos, con una cama enorme y muy cómoda. También la cama extra de nuestro hijo era genial. Tiene una terraza maravillosa, justo frente a la selva. Te sientes inmerso en la naturaleza. Si quieres vivir una experiencia local, este sitio es perfecto. Sam siente verdadero amor por Bukit Lawang y se nota en cada detalle. Sus chicos son magníficos y te hacen sentir en casa. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Lo mejor de nuestro viaje!!!!

Great place. Very peaceful and safe. They will help you with anything you need, no need to worry about anything just ask for their help :) You can be a solo traveller or big family with kids. The staff is always present and very entertaining. Good food and great fresh fruits. You can also book a trek with them and customize it the way you please.

We stayed at Sam’s Bungalow for 3 Nights we liked the large Deluxe room with compfortable bed AC and warm shower. The room is clean and quite big in compare to other guest Houses it is on 2 floors. The Room is for this area a Luxus Room it has warm water ac a fridge a large balcony enough Space to Store your luggage a lot of Power Outlet to charge your Phone. So Overall the Perfect Bungalow for a Perfect Holiday. The Bungalow s are at the riverbank and oposite from the Nationalpark. We could watch birds flying around while eating the breakfast. Sam and his Family are charming and helpful If you Need Support for booking a Transport or a Special Trekking. We can highly recommend this Place for a Nice Holiday
