Belle vue mer et piscine. Proche de Portaventuraworld. Par contre bruyant, restaurant au sous-sol, dîner médiocre et pas de place de parking.

Hotel was very clean with friendly helpful staff , check in was quick and easy , entertainment was surprisingly good , the only down side was we found the food a little bit repetitive and cold but overall a good hotel

We have just come back from a week at The Best Punta Dorada Hotel. Firstly, i must say that the staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming, helpful, polite and kind. When we first arrived we had a problem within our room and went to reception where Jonathon was very helpful and understood the problem and immediately fixed it with an upgrade to a much better room. Then there was Vicky on reception she was so friendly that by the end of the stay it felt like I was leaving a friend. She was a very warm, kind and friendly person. All the staff from reception, restaurant staff, cleaners, bar staff were incredibly helpful, even remembering what we drank lol. We visited Salou a couple of times and just ordered coffee and watched the world go by. We visited Tarragona and again watched the world go by. Both these places are well worth a visit. Also at the top of the hill there is a Bus Plana kiosk where you can organise your trips or even to buy just a bus pass. The bus pass is the ideal card to carry. It costs 10.50 euros and gives you 10 trips on any bus. Once you have used all your trips you can just add another 10 trips onto the same card but for only 6.50 euros, We bought a coach trip to Barcelona for only 24.95 euros each. We were picked up in a luxury coach, which did take nearly 2 hours but they did stop for a toilet break on the way there but not on the way back. The trip was well worth it and you did get 5 hours shopping there. The only major flaw at the hotel was in the restaurant. I must say that I only struggled on one night where there was not anything suitable for me but I managed with a salad. There was not a lot of choice if you are a vegetarian, chips, rice and salad. The food was not labelled very well in my opinion, it did not show exactly what the food was and no labelling if suitable for vegetarians nor was it labelled for allergies or gluten free etc etc. Also I feel that it could do with a small supermarket that you could buy milk and water as the nearest is up the hill and down the road to the supermarket. It was not far but having travelled for many hours by car, plane and coach you had to go out for milk to have a cup of tea. The beds were very comfy and the view over the pool and sea were magnificent. All in all it was a superb break with the staff making it better for you. Please remember that this is my own personal opinion.

Si vas aciertas La ubicación es un poco mala si lo que buscas es fiesta pero si quieres diversión y algo de relax es genial. Una pequeña cala de piedra a 50 metros te da la tranquilidad que necesitas, la piscina de hotel está amenizada todo el día con agua gym, cócteles, música nocturna, el personal es súper atento y amable, especialmente la camarera cubana y el socorrista, el hotel cuenta con bufet libre de desayuno, comida y cena a unos precios más que buenos, la relación calidad y variedad por el precio es insuperable en la zona, las camas eran enormes, el balcón muy cómodo, como “peros” o “a mejorar” en el bar de la piscina deberían dejarte apuntarlo a la habitación, sería bueno que el personal de recepción dejase las llamas personales y atendiera al cliente el chico de gafas concretamente, la falta de interés y las malas maneras de este chicho ensucian el trabajo del hotel (no solo fue con nosotros le vimos esa actitud con otros clientes ) en general 10/10!!! VOLVEREMOS!

Our Check-in was a bit stressful upon arrival because there are two complexes in the facilities and we were bumped into the alternate building. The room we were assigned was considered an upgrade facing the ocean but was quite small in size, Upon entry we immediately checked to see and found that the AC did not work and the fridge was on the blink. Jonathan at the front desk was very understanding and after a bit of discussion and us indicating our frustration he found us a room that was more than acceptable and to our liking. thanks Jonathan! otherwise the facilities are quite good, clean and safe.
