Quay Apartments

I would be happy to stay here again 10000% and would recommend this place to anybody weather it be a short stay or long .I only stayed 1 night . The lass who met us at the apartment was really nyc polite and was very welcoming. The apartment was spotless very clean and tidy with coffe ,suger, tea , and milk provided. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the big windows where excellent for view and fresh air .

Communication was great, Dennis who met me at the property was brilliant; friendly, welcoming, polite, helpful and gave useful tips about the property whilst he showed me around it. The property itself was clean, well equipped, spacious, quiet and next to a food store and bus & tram stop to Central Manchester, Manchester Piccadilly train station, Etihad and Co-Op Live. Old Trafford and Media City were within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. The only down side was no transport back to the area after Co-Op live finished.

I have been using Quay Apartments on and off for the past 7 years and gradually the quality of both the standard of their customer service and apartments has declined. The apartment was cold and lacking in warmth both in temperature and empathy. Blank white walls with no pictures, no soft furnishings or rugs made the place echo and the lack of lamp shades made for harsh white light rather than a softer warmer welcoming atmosphere. The person checking me in could only shrug and the person on the end of the phone was glib and uninterested. I was told to ring 15 minutes ahead of arrival so I could be met at the RV. Did so and then waited 10 for the agent to arrive! Just back from Dubai where the level of customer service far out strips anything we have in the UK and this experience just made the difference even more obvious.

We were very disappointed with our recent stay here. Bed uncomfortable and creaky Fridge smelled strongly of onions Kitchen bin broken Rusty kitchen drainer and toilet brush Long black hairs in the bath. Not ours Generally clean and tidy but bland and unwelcoming decor. Bare walls. Looks quite bleak internally. Blinds not good at keeping light out when sleeping. Welcome host excellent. If you don’t like the constant smell of **** then you should probably not spend any time in the lifts and communal areas. Shame. Good location. Thanks

I was given two different post codes bringing confusion, finally at arrival I was asked to give 200 pounds which would be refunded at checkout, I am yet to get my 200 pounds refund. My stay experience outside the above was a good one and the check out system is not proper as to security.

Nice and clean, bed’s are good,good location. Kitchen has all you need for four people but nothing more. Only thing i can say might be better is the living room sofa could be a little bit bigger. But i sur would use it agin if i am traveling to manchester. Good location if you are going to see Manchester united match
