B&B Salerno in Centro

Francesco and his parents welcome you as if you are one of their family. My room was large and airy with a lovely terrace. I had everything I needed to be very comfortable. Francesco told me all about area, and advised on where to eat, what to see, ferry times etc. He also picked me up and returned me to the station which was really helpful. The location is in the middle of the busy old town Salerno but at night in my room I couldn’t hear anything, very peaceful. It is also handy for ferries to Positano and Capri. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I felt that help was always there if I needed it. I recommend a stay here to be reminded of what 5 star service is - it isn’t furnishings and fancy rooms, it is thoughtfulness, kindness and being treated like a guest of the family.

I can’t say enough good things about Solerno Centro Bed and Breakfast. The place was great but what sets it apart from other B&Bs I’ve stayed in is the hospitality and warmth displayed by Francesco and his parents. It was like staying with old friends. The only difference was that we had just met them! From delicious breakfasts to suggestions for our stay, they were the ultimate hosts.

Francesco and his parents hosted us in their beautiful Bed & Breakfast housed in a 16th century building in Salerno’s historic quarter. We were so surprised that he offered to pick us up at the train station and we had a limoncello and a wonderful piece of cake upon arrival. They were incredibly kind, and their hospitality was on display in every way. From the directions and wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat, the delicious breakfast prepared to order by Lena and the enlightening and interesting conversations, we really felt as though we were staying with close friends or family members. Francesco and I talked about football, Vespa scooters, politics, and Italian history and society. Our room was upgraded at their suggestion and we took advantage of their laundry service and bought some of the delicious limoncello which was homemade by Francesco‘s Mom with lemons from his Father‘s trees. We interacted with his mother and father and his daughter, and it really felt like we were guests in their home. We had a fabulous time and hope to return to Salerno and to visit them again soon. They were so kind and we miss them already. It was such a unique experience and definitely unforgettable.

What a fabulous little gem, absolutely worth more than 5 stars. Location is perfect, walking distance from train station, steps away from both the sea, and the old part of the city. We are staying in the Positano room. Comfy bed, loads of storage, pleasantly decorated. Bonus of having our own terrace, which we have enjoyed every day. Cook to order breakfast served on a lovely patio. But the best thing about this B&B is the owners. Francesco and his parents couldn’t be more accommodating and hospitable. Francesco is so kind and friendly, and always available for sightseeing tips or anything else to make our stay most enjoyable. Grazie Mille to Francesco and family.

Francesco e la sua famiglia sono delle persone brave e professionali con il loro calore ti fanno sentire a casa. La struttura ha un ottima posizione, confortevole e pulita . La colazione buonissima. Ringrazio ancora Francesco e i suoi genitori, per i bellissimi giorni trascorsi da loro in armonia e serenità.
