Coconut Grove Beach Resort

Hotel is in very remote location, nothing around other than other hotels. Restaurant was poor and dirty and we had to take a taxi to go out and eat every day. This morning I asked for omelette and I was told that for today I can only have boiled egg. They could not explain why I could not have omelette as I stayed 4 nights and first 3 breakfasts I could get omelette. Hotel has a lot potential and it has beautiful surroundings and very close to the beach but it’s run down, a lot of things broken and not fixed. Pool is dirty, tiles broken, no rules, people going in with their clothes, no shower, in the morning as the dirt has settled overnight, you can see green growing on the tiles. Rooms spacious but dirty and ants running around, you can’t leave any food out. Smells of mould. Bathroom does not have a fan extractor, big hole in the wall but fan is missing. My pillow was smelly. Staff not friendly. Most of them don't even say hello. WiFi is poor. You can get it in communal areas but signal in the rooms is bad. Reception area main focus for new or existing guests, pigeons living in broken lamps and walls and table and some chairs around covered in pigeon poo. I told reception that they should clean it but 4 days later it was still there. I would definitely not stay there again.

It was a pleasant stay in coconut grove resort in Betalbatim Goa. This is my 3rd time to stay in this same resort. Complementary brekfast, Swimming pool and Easy connect to beach is plus points. Thanks for Arun Kumar for making all necessary arrangements.

Приехали впервые с ребенком! Если сюда собираетесь с детьми- не стоит! У нас был включён завтрак- есть нечего совсем! Все национальное , соотвественно острое, это конечно хорошо, но должно быть разнообразие! Что есть- приходится выпрашивать! Фрукты, сосиски, омлет! Дальше по сервису- приедете и забудете о многих вещах в своей жизни! Во первых нет вообще фена! Во вторых- вай фай: он есть, но работает только на территории отеля,в номере все- отдыхаем!)))))) сколько раз не сходишь ругаться бесполезно! Далее сервис: это любимая тема! Нас было 3 человека в номере: всего по 2 несут (вода 2, комплект для душа 1, полотенца 2) все) хватит) поэкономнее пожалуйста! Уборку просишь, поменять белье сложно,на 10 день скандал! Вообщем гнев, оценка 0!!!!

We came to the hotel about 9.30 in the evening, we had to wait for 30-40 minutes for our room to be ready. When we saw the room we were suprised not in the good way, cause the room weren’t clean enough, we were two adults and two kids, but just one bed was prepared to sleep on it, we asked to bring pillow, duvet and sheet, we decide to go to have quick dinner, but when we came back, no one brought anything. So we had to go to reception again to ask one more time. In the end after long time we got it. Al the time they were bringing just 3 towels and 3 bottle of water, despite the fact that there were 4 of us. I will couple of pictures of the room and bathroom. Everything is old, but the problem is not about this , the problem is extremely poor cleaning. It is maximum 3 stars hotel, definitely not 4. The breakfast is very very poor. They don’t have coffee machine to make pure coffee, just power coffee. We bought some stuff for cleaning, and made cleaning of the room and bathroom by ourselves. In the end on reception you can’t pay dollars, can’t give change in dollars, you can’t pay Apple Pay (you can pay by Apple Pay even in the cafe on the beach, but not in the hotel reception!!!) We had breakfasts in the beach cafe. The only person who works properly good in the hotel is garden ***, territory looks green and nice. On the first day when we came, some tourist were drinking and chatting next to the swimming pool, then one of them by accident broke the glass, so it took 4 days to clean the floor of peace’s of glass, so we decided to not to swim there, because glass were exactly next to swimming pool, I guess it stayed there till not in the water. When we were leaving, they gave us the bill for the broken glass, but the glass was on the window next to the entrance to our room when we came to the hotel, and we told many times to guys who clean room to take it away from there. It was the last drop to our attitude to this Hotel in general! I expected absolutely different conditions of 4 stars hotel. I stayed pretty dissatisfied and disappointed.

В настоящее время находимся в этом отеле, проживаем на первом этаже Ванная комната это сырость и плесень Завтраки отдельная история, на второй день по записи выдавали омлет, овощей нет вообще Территория за отелем до пляжа в ужасном виде.

Stay awesome, food excellent, nearby beach walkable distance. Overall excellent. Restaurant need some more food options and price need to reduce. We stayed with kids and kids enjoyed stay very much. Swimming pool is well maintained and enjoyed.
