We are repeat clients of Al Baleed. Our first stay was in 2017, our last in October 2024 and this year, we spent the whole month of June. The quality of service has been constant in all respects but we did notice that Sakalan restaurant has been progressing steadily since then. I must say that the resort staff is exceptional and probably the best we have ever experienced in our lifetime so far. The level of excellence of the staff is so high in so many respects that it is nearly impossible to single out anyone. Allow us however to cite a few names amongst the staff we recall as being outstanding but please keep in mind all the staff deserves praise from top management to front office, housekeeping, restaurant, spa, gardening, technicians, beach. Many thanks to Andrea, Selim, Ibrahim, Hussain, Gabor, Munira, Daniel, Abu Sufian, Elvis, Marichel, Raquel, Nang, Yashi, Laxman, Asad, Yuli, Mani, Geetha, Arafath, Kun Dome, Ali Julfikar, Kazuri, Idrissa, Hassan and to all those who took good care of us during our stay. Your team spirit is exceptional and we are grateful to have experienced it. We have a culinary suggestion to make that would be in line with your ecologically minded approach. We understand that you have standards and safety constraints. However, please, try and make available more local produce, namely green vegetables and local chicken. Avoid the import of tasteless European fruit and more importantly, ban all chicken or meat produce from Brazil. Their chicken is full of unhealthy hormones and should be avoided. Europe is invaded by their cheap produce which are killing our local farmers. Overall, we have nothing but praise for this wonderful resort and would recommend it wholeheartedly for anyone seeking solace and human warmth.
