Très bon séjour dans cet (appart)hôtel à Sal Rei : Alberto et son équipe sont très accueillants et offrent un service de qualité. Les appartements sont très propres et pratiques (cuisine aménagée qui permet de ne pas aller au restaurant tous les jours). La terrasse en roof top est top! Situé à 5 minutes à pied de la ville et de la plus belle plage de l'île (Estoril) l'hôtel est très agréable. Idéal pour les amateurs de Kite et Wingfoil qui peuvent rejoindre les clubs de la plage rapidement.

Une excellente adresse à Boa Vista Trés beau séjour dans cet (appart) hotel à Sal Rei sur Boa Vista. Alberto et son équipe sont trés accueillants et serviables. Les appartements sont très propres, pratiques (une cuisine équipée permet de prendre ses repas ce qui évite d'aller tous les jours au restaurant). Le roof top est top! la ville est à 5 minutes ainsi que la plus belle plage (Estoril) où l'on pratique Wingfoil et Kite.

Spacious, friendly, helpful staff and management. Helpful with recommending trips. Booked taxis for the airport. The staff always had a smile and seem to be always cleaning. The place was very clean and tidy. Manager was lovely and concerned when i tripped, even put a mat out after. Felt very welcomed.

Great place to unwind A bit of a hidden gem. Had a great stay here. Alberto was very welcoming on check in. Had a secluded feel about the place which was exactly what I was looking for. The apartment itself was very spacious and home like. Short walk from the beach where there were a few beach bars/restaurant. Towards the centre you will find a number of different supermarkets and restaurants. Recommended!

Great hosts, great, friendly team. (Lots of advice on where to go and restaurants). Wonderful apartment (had a penthouse terrace) Walkable to beach and main town. Very safe. Great breakfast Room had a kettle which I loved !! Would highly recommend (especially if you like water sports as centres very close by )

È disarmante accorgersi che la semplicità è complice della dedizione a ciò che si ama. Con la simpatia di Alberto e l'eleganza di Monica che gestiscono Cala da Lua con piglio e mano sicura, hai il privilegio di frequentare un ambiente cordiale e famigliare. In an attempt to rekindle our lovelife, we came here and it exceeded our expectations. The nights were wild, the days were beautiful. We were the only disturbers of the peace and for that we apologize to Alberto and Monica, anyhow much love to housekeeping. Also for the medical care after a heroic motorcycle adventure through Boa Vista (were I pushed it to the limit and crashed). We lost the deposit (and my dignity), to wrap it up it's an amazing place for surfing and love! No stress, peace, love and unity.

After Covid, I am resuming my travels. Now single :-) ... I wanted to tick "surfing" of my bucket list and looked for a real sufer spot. Something individual. If you come here, you know where you are going. Boa Vista is a small island with a few thousand inhabitants and about 4 larger hotels south of the island. Sal Rei is the (roughly 7,000 ppl) capital of the island and basically consists of a few houses and 5 beach bars. Cala da Lua is run by Alberto and his wife and about 150m from the beach. I chose this hotel because the pictures and feedback of the PlanetAllSports surf schools showed positive vibes. If you want to be welcome and get local tips, have a host, who cares and if you are aware that you are going to a 3rd world country - Cala da Lua is the perfect home for you. Alberto and his wife will take care of you. Get you a driver, a quad, organize everything you need. The Internet was too slow for me, Alberto got me a new LTE hotspot quickly (which you can now use, too, if you need 5MB+ to work)... There are 2-3 locations closer to the beach, but the penthouse suites with Cala da Lua are so big and beautiful, you will not leave too often. Wish I would have been here with friends... Wonderful spot, great people. And good breakfast!
