Auberge du Manoir Dauth

We found the experience of staying here totally unacceptable. As guests we were totally abandoned. We were shocked to be called the day before our arrival and sent codes via text to access the hotel and our room key (after having to ask which room we'd been assigned). There was NO ONE at the hotel during our two night stay. I phoned both the number that had called with the code information and the main number for the hotel and, again, NO ONE called us back. I phoned twice. The WiFi code didn't work; the unsecured network without password blocked incoming mail. There was no breakfast possible -- I was told when booking that there was a restaurant across the street -- there was only one a short drive away. Do not be deceived by their online presence with a delicious looking breakfast and their phone manner when booking which seems warm and welcoming. It is decidedly frightening to stay in an empty hotel, tucked away from the main road, surrounded by trees, with no contact possible with anyone at the hotel. In short -- do not stay here.

N’allez surtout pas au Manoir Dauth. Plus qu’un mauvais service, aucun service! À notre arrivée après une longue journée de vélo, l’auberge Manoir Dauth semblait à l’abandon et personne n’était présent pour nous accueillir. Malgré toutes nos tentatives (cogner à la porte, envoi de message courriel et téléphones) RIEN. Pas même de boîte vocale. Nous avons donc dû trouver un autre hébergement ce qui nous obligeait à faire une vingtaine de kilomètres supplémentaires. Trois jours plus tard, nous avons reçu ce courriel écrit en mauvais français : « Desoler le credit va etre fait en apres midi mais ca peut prendre 2 jours avant que ca parait sur ton cote ». Bravo! Aucune explication! Là ça fait deux semaines et toujours rien…TRÈS TRÈS MAUVAIS SERVICE. Ça frôle l’arnaque.
