Just a minute’s drive from Guernsey Airport, the family-run Le Chêne B&B offers a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and free parking. Guests can explore the island with bike hire from the hotel, subject to availability. The light and traditionally furnished rooms each include a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Guests can relax in the room with free tea, coffee, and cookies, along with a TV. The hotel is located in the forest parish with petit bot bay and the scenic cliff paths nearby. The hotel is on the circular bus routes allowing easy access to other parts of the island such as the islands town of st peter port. Very competitive price and good location. Would recommend it for a short stay over the weekend. Food is good and the staff are friendly. Would also recommend the Deerhound pub restaurant located near the hotel. The best restaurant in Guensey.

Stayed at Le Chene for a week. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Very dated, not cleaned very well. Carpet wasn’t hoovered all week even though there were bits all over the carpet. Curtain very difficult to close and partly hanging off. The only good thing was the breakfast and the beds were comfy and clean.

Strictly classed as a bed & breakfast place because it does not provide an evening meal. Situated a 15 minute walk from Guernsey airport and a 25 minute bus ride from the sea front at St Peter Port. There is a high standard restaurant at the Deerhound about a 5 minute walk away. The Le Chene receptionist will book you a table there upon request. If you want something more basic (eg burger and chips) then the Happy Landing pub is a 10 minute walk away and serves meals all day. Positives. Situated close to the airport and on Guernsey's main east to west road. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel and buses to both the airport and St Peter Port run with a 10 minute service interval. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, a sauna and a jacuzzi. Although a bit dilapidated they were fine. It has a bar which is open all day. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was very good - reasonably sized, well equipped, clean and well maintained. WiFi and TV were both fine. Plenty of local visitor attractions are within easy walking distance. Try the Little Chapel and the Occupation Museum. Negatives. A bit faded. But don't be put off by that. The place has a good ambience. Not cheap by UK standards. But good value by Guernsey standards. Would we come here again?. Love to.

Review van Le Chêne BnB in Guernsey Le Chêne BnB is een charmant bed & breakfast gelegen op het idyllische eiland Guernsey. Tijdens mijn recente verblijf hier, werd ik getroffen door de gastvrijheid, het comfort en de prachtige omgeving. Accommodatie en Faciliteiten: De kamers bij Le Chêne BnB zijn smaakvol ingericht en bieden alle gemakken die je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Het bed was bijzonder comfortabel, wat zorgde voor een goede nachtrust. De kamers waren schoon en prima onderhouden. Een extra pluspunt was de aanwezigheid van koffie- en theefaciliteiten, evenals gratis wifi. Service: De gastvrijheid van de eigenaren was top. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk verwelkomd en kregen we een rondleiding door de faciliteiten. Ze stonden altijd klaar om te helpen met tips over bezienswaardigheden en restaurants in de buurt. Hun lokale kennis en vriendelijkheid maakten het verblijf zeer aangenaam. Ontbijt: Het ontbijt was goed. Er was een ruime keuze aan verse, lokaal geproduceerde producten. Van versgebakken brood en croissants tot een uitgebreid aanbod aan fruit, yoghurt en granen, er was voor ieder wat wils. De warme gerechten, zoals eieren en spek, werden op bestelling bereid en waren uitstekend. Locatie: Le Chêne BnB heeft een perfecte ligging voor het verkennen van Guernsey. Het is dicht bij prachtige wandelpaden en stranden, maar ook op korte afstand van het centrum van St. Peter Port. De nabijheid van openbaar vervoer maakt het makkelijk om het eiland te verkennen, zelfs zonder auto. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding: Gezien de kwaliteit van de accommodatie en de geboden service, vond ik Le Chêne BnB zeer redelijk geprijsd. Het biedt een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en ik voelde dat ik waar voor mijn geld kreeg. Conclusie: Mijn verblijf bij Le Chêne BnB was zonder twijfel aangenaam en memorabel. Het is een ideale keuze voor reizigers die op zoek zijn naar comfort, uitstekende service en een geweldige locatie in Guernsey. Ik zou dit bed & breakfast zonder aarzeling aanbevelen aan vrienden, familie en iedereen die een bezoek aan dit prachtige eiland overweegt.

Thank you for a great stay, nothing was a hassle for the staff, they were all very friendly! Great extra touches for families such as children’s colouring, games, swimming pool and hot tub! Rooms were very spacious, im very tall so the shower was a squeeze to get under but there was a bath also so i used that! Breakfast was perfect with multiple options.

I see a lot of harsh words in the reviews. And I do agree that the accomodation could use some maintenance/upgrading. But… Niek and Beatrice are the best of people. Very easy to approach. Always a smile. Ready to handle any request you may have. Need a bus card? Want advice on what to do on Guernsey? Need a table at The Deerhound? No problem. Their breakfast is the best I have had for a long time. Freshly made toast and avocado, omelette, croque madame. All excelent. Oh, and English breakfast too (the horror, for a Continental European).

The hotel was not of the standard that it portrayed in the advertisement. Very dated and extremely bad bathroom fittings. The toilet seat was wobbly and badly stained. The shower head over the bath had very low pressure. The bath was badly stained. The furniture was old and cluttered. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. The breakfast was good. However in general it was not good value for money. Overpriced and I would not recommend it.

Disappointed with hotel and particularly our room due to outdated decor and furniture that was just not very nice.Really depressing environment for a holiday. Not enough plugs by the beds for phone and a lamp with no socket. Bed with no headboard. Looked very different from family room in *********** photos. Breakfast ok but flies on meats and cheese left out uncovered. If food ran out it was not replaced so you had to get there early to guarantee a croissant. Asked if we could have breakfast in the brighter conservatory area, as the dining room was dark. Told no as tables too small for three people although there was a table for six which the very next day had been given to 3 people in another room. The garden area looks scruffy. It was drab and disappointing and looking at previous reviews dating back years nothing’s going to change. We won’t be back and would not recommend.

My friend and I, found ourselves stranded at Guernsey Airport, as we missed our ferry to Sark. Accommodation was scarce, as The Island Games were on. The hotel had a cancellation and Niek was so kind and helpful, even collecting us from the airport. He also booked us a meal at the nearby Deerhound. Breakfast was very good. We were sorry to have to rush away, to get the ferry in the morning. We didn't have the time for a dip in the hotel pool, which looked very inviting. An excellent experience.
