Yellow Bird Hotel

Can't beat the location. Views from the balcony was stunning. Clean, safe, no frills. Staff were really really nice and helpful. What a great start to my holidays. Oh, and not too far from Oistens Fish Fry.

As you will see from the reviews all is good here. Thanks to all of the staff, we enjoyed our stay. Not a fan of the pubs etc on the ***** but plenty of places easily reachable from the hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy. Robin and Claude.

Worth 3 & 1/2 stars really, a great location on St Lawrence Gap with nice beach views. Room was large, functional and clean and the service in reception and the restaurant was very good as was the food options. A great swimming pool area provided another feature.

We have started to stay at the Yellow Bird in the last 3 years. Its a great hotel that offers everything you need. The room has cooking facilities, cooker, microwave, kettle and full size fridge, and coffee maker. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and suited to the beautiful Caribbean ocean front view outside your patio. We have stayed on the upper floor, and this time on the lower floor. My husband prefers the upper floor as he can have a nosey outside. The onsite restaurant is very good, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinners there. The staff are welcoming, and kind and we see the same staff on our return visits and have made friends. We always receive a warm welcome, and know must of the staff by first name. we would like to thank Sonia for keeping our room so clean and Laurel. Reception staff Dashawn, Monique, Michelle for welcoming us with a beautiful smile. Jamal & Kofi for helping us with our luggage and maintenance in our room. We can't forget Sherelleanne, Lisa, Carolanne, Justin, Sydney, Audley, Peddrina & Tia. The staff make the stay more enjoyable, they are full of advice and recommendations. The hotel is located close to restaurants, bars and beaches. You can walk to must restaurants, bars and beaches. We felt very safe walking to and from bars late at night. We look forward to our return visit soon.

Spent my 38th birthday at this boutique hotel which is walking distance to all the bars and restaurants on the South Gap. Next to this hotel as well is also a beautiful Cafe /restaurant named Cafe Sol that serves some wicked margaritas, Mexican food and coconut shrimp lol, I love it!! The management and staff at Yellow Bird were all very polite . Breakfast hit the spot daily!!. I did not have lunch at the hotel as I spent most of my afternoons outdoor exploring the beautiful island. The room (402) was spacious, with a kitchenette along with all amenities needed. Not once did I need to complain about anything!. Was also surprised with a bottle of Merlot in my room on the day of my birthday (20th August) when I returned from a sunset cruise. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to anyone!. Thank you Yellow Bird for having me. Love from Trinidad

We highly recommend this apartment hotel! We stayed in a room with kitchenette. Good size, nice bathroom, okay size balcony with table and chairs. Very clean rooms, good and friendly housekeeping. If you like Saint Lawrence Gap (and we do!) this is a good location. Close to the main street leading in to town with busses that run all the time, but the noise from the traffic was not bad at all. All staff were VERY friendly - we even came in the same day as hurricane Beryl was to hit Barbados during the night, and still we were welcomed with calm, smiles and we felt safe and looked after. The restaurant and bar is small and cosy, and the food is really good bajan food and not expensive at all. The beach in front of the hotel is okay for a short dip and very good beaches can be found 5 minutes walk down Saint Lawrence Gap.

Gorgeous boutique hotel sat across the road from the beach . All rooms are sea view . We were on the ground floor with a beautiful little garden in front of our room then a few steps outside was a lovely sunbathing area with a pool and the bar nearby for refreshments and food . All staff were very welcoming and helpful. This gem of a hotel is sat at the beginning of st Lawrence gap so handy for all the nightlife . I would highly recommend this gorgeous peaceful hotel . Also our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day .

Great hotel good location to go explore the island ,walking distance to good restaurants and decent bars ,was a little noisy at night with noise from bars but just whack the air con up and take some earplugs you’ll be ok great view from rooms with wildlife galore to sit and watch .
