帶孩子訪校，附近沒有其他住處，衹能勉強住這裏，前台的小哥很熱情有禮，衹是房間味道難聞，設備國內一星？恐怖

If this is second best in Saint Johnsbury, I can't imagine what #3 looks like. I called ahead from the road, as i was riding my motorcycle around the state. The best (sic) hotel in town was booked so I settled on this. I told the person who answered the phone I would be arriving in around an hour and then drove there. I gave him my name. He said literally nothing to me in return. When I arrived I had to be patient as he was carrying on a conversation with someone in a foreign language while I, an arriving guest, was ignored. I finally sat down to wait and then he called out to me. Seated at the front desk I could not see him, nor he me, unless one of us got up. First he asked me if I had a reservation. Since I had already spoken to him and he did not indicate that they were full or nearly so, I was surprised. I identified myself again by name. Again, he did not provide me with his name. I asked for the room and he gave me a price of $171 which was more than $40 more than what was being shown on Tripadvisor. He then asked me to show him my phone to check on the price, which was $128. He then reluctantly agreed to give me a price slightly more than the $129 saying "it probably hasn't refreshed to the current price" when I had l pulled up the price one hour before. The place is old, the furniture in the lobby is threadbare and ripped. The rooms are gloomy. The paint is chipped, the baseboards are pockmarked with nicks and cuts, the lighting is gloomy in the bath and bedroom. It's just weezing on oxygen. Never again. It is the worst place I have stayed in Vermont ever, and is close the the worst in my life.

The staff was friendly and great. Breakfast was on the lighter side with not many options. Rooms were dated but clean.
