Une belle visite guidée avec dégustation avec une jeune fille sympathique et dynamique pour commencer notre séjour. Suite dans son jus et accueil un peu froid. Dommage de ne pas avoir pu profiter du cadre en prenant le petit-déjeuner à l’extérieur.

Pour les chambres simples, il faut savoir que l'insonorisation est quasi nulle et que les chambres sont vraiment simples. Préférez les suites, elles sont d'un autre niveau. En ce qui concerne le personnel, la visite des caves, tout était parfait

Château Fombrauge est une destination à recommander, toute proche de la belle ville de Saint-Emilion. Calme parfait, confort total et accueil chaleureux et prévenant sont au rendez-vous. Visite et dégustation conseillées !

The chateau and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The wine making tour was informative and fun. We stayed in the Cadran Suite which we would highly recommend, as it includes a private bathroom and is located away from the other rooms of the hotel. The breakfast was served family style in the dining room, and was a nice way to visit with other guests while keeping your schedule flexible. The wine was also delicious! The close proximity to the village of St. Emilion and the reasonable price made this one of our most memorable stays.

Uitermate charmant chateau. Mooi en rustig gelegen. St. Emilion is 8 minuten rijden met de auto. Oplaad faciliteiten voor elektrische en hybride auto’s zijn aanwezig. Vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt dat op verzoek werd aangepast aan onze wensen. Wij kregen een upgrade naar een mooie suite. Een rondleiding over de wijngaarden, kelders en een proeverij zijn bij de kamerprijs inbegrepen. Het enige wat wij misten was een douche. Een bad is wat minder handig in het gebruik. chapeau.

Chateau Fombrauge was our base for a short visit to the Saint Emilion wine region. It was elegant, private, and quite but still very close to the village and other surrounding villages. There are only a few rooms. Our suite was huge and included a small salon, bedroom, and large bathroom. An armoire provided ample storage. There was one other guest for only one night, so we had the house mostly to ourselves. There are many interesting objects to view and books about the area to read. Breakfast was served in the dining. Not too informal but not stuffy either. Quiet elegance is a good description. There was an assortment of pastries, cheeses, and meats. You could also order eggs. Highly recommended.

There is no reason why this Chateau does not offer world class services that are in sync with the location, reputation and beauty. No proper reception, staff and housekeeping is unexplicable. No nice bedsheets or towels is also mot reasonable. And at least a concierge service could be provided.

Coffret cadeau Sejour agreable, bon accueil. Personnel a l ecoute. Suite confortable. Dans le pack, la visite des chais et un pic nic sous les arbres avec vue sur les vignes : bon moment. Bon.we passé.

Venu pour un mariage en Juillet. Magnifique endroit, niché au coeur des vignes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien meublées. Le chateau en lui même est admirablement décoré et le personnel aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement !
