I recently stayed at The Fern Sattva Resort, Polo Forest and had a good experience until an unfortunate incident occurred. My 11-month-old baby accidentally knocked a ball onto a glass tabletop, causing it to break. While I understand that the resort may seek reimbursement for damages, I was shocked by the excessive amount demanded—₹2300, including an unjustified “transportation charge.” Upon inquiry, I estimated the actual cost of the glass to be around ₹650, raising serious questions about the resort’s integrity and fairness. Accidents happen, especially with young children, and I expected more understanding and transparency from a place that claims to cater to families. This incident left a sour taste after an otherwise good stay. I hope the management reconsiders their approach to handling such matters and prioritizes guest satisfaction over unreasonable charges.
