Aurora Collection Saariselkä

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Woche in der Serenity Villa. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten war es wirklich perfekt. Der Blick aus der Villa und die absolute Privatsphäre haben unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt, wir haben uns absolut wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal, egal wo oder wer, war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Buchung und die Organisation von Aktivitäten liefen reibungslos ab und waren echt super. Unsere 3 Aurora Hunts, 2x Private Snowmobile Touren, Husky- und Rentier Safaris waren perfekt, vielen Dank dafür! Und weil es uns so gut gefallen hat, haben wir auch noch einen Tag drangehängt, auch das hat reibungslos geklappt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Aurora Collection Team, es war schön, bei Euch zu sein!

Het was een topervaring om bij Aurora collection te verblijven. Wij hadden het huisje met jacuzzi en hemelzicht vanuit ons bed. De jacuzzi is altijd warm, dus je kunt er elk moment in. De ramen hebben verwarming zodat er geen sneeuw of ijs op blijft zitten. Het ontbijt wordt aan de deur geleverd en er zitten verschillende opties in. Er is gratis vervoer tot 21:30 van en naar het resort. De mensen zijn erg aardig. Je kunt alle activiteiten via hun boeken. Wij hadden een noorderlichtjacht staan, maar door het slechte weer (bewolking) is de jacht laat begonnen en waren we rond 3:00 uur terug. Helaas die avond het noorderlicht niet gezien. De volgende dag was het weer een stuk beter en konden we weer mee. Dit boden ze gratis aan, omdat we het de eerste keer niet gezien hadden. Dit keer het noorderlicht wel gezien. Je kunt ze whatsappen voor alles. Om vervoer te regelen, hoelaat je het ontbijt wil, tips voor restaurantjes etc. Dit resort voelde aan als een familiebedrijf en niet als zo'n commerciele keten die 100 hotels heeft. Ik raadt dit resort aan iedereen aan.

very nice staff, comfortable beds but some things we weren't happy with/could be improved: -when we arrived, there were makeup stains in the bathroom sink that were not cleaned -we felt that it was not worth the price- we stayed in an arctic spa suite and the windows faced a busy road with several street lights so the views were not what we expected -the fence around the outdoor jacuzzi is very high so we could not see northern lights while sitting in the jacuzzi- we had to stand up -breakfast is low quality

Für einen runden Geburtstag wollten wir ein besonderes Erlebnis buchen. Wir waren für 5 Nächte im sehr neuen Studio A5 gebucht und für uns zwei Personen war es perfekt. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Ausblick in eine Schneelandschaft durch große Panoramafenster, eine „Schlafnische“ die kuschelig und absolut ausreichend war und für uns besonders wichtig eine eigene Sauna. Das Studio war hervorragend mit einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet, es gab genügend Stauraum, ein tolles Soundsystem, das über Bloototh gesteuert werden konnte und – falls jemand das Bedürfnis hätte – einen TV mit der Möglichkeit seine eigenen Streamingkanäle zu nutzen. Wir haben das Bucketlist Paket gebucht und es keine Minute bereut. Alles wurde im Vorfeld perfekt terminiert und organisiert und auf unsere Wünsche angepasst. Wir wurden trotz Flugumbuchungen und Problemen bei der Anreise gut gelaunt auch noch zu später Zeit vom Flughafen abgeholt und vor Ort in die Annehmlichkeiten unseres Studios eingewiesen. Wie bereits öfter erwähnt läuft die komplette Kommunikation vor Ort über WhatsApp – und das hervorragend! Wir wurden immer pünktlich und zuverlässig zu unseren Aktivitäten gebracht, von unseren Wunschlocations abgeholt und der Pickup abends vom Restaurant war problemlos. Sogar die Polarlight Hotline :-) hat perfekt funktioniert! Saarisälka selbst ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar und wir haben täglich die Gelegenheit genutzt, um in den Ort zu laufen oder von unseren Aktivitäten zu Fuß zum Studio zurück. Diese halbe Stunde durch ein ruhiges Winterwunderland ist wunderbar machbar - auch bei den während unseres Aufenthalts vorherrschenden knackigen Minustemperaturen. Die Aurora Collection wird mit viel Herzblut und persönlichem Einsatz betrieben. Es ist auch den Mitarbeitern zu verdanken, dass wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub hatten! Von Herzen nochmal ein Dankeschön an alle helfenden Hände im Hintergrund und an Maelle und Janni, die wir in kurzer Zeit ins Herz geschlossen haben. Dieses wunderbare Land und vor allem die Aurora Collection ist eine Reise wert – eine 100%ige Weiterempfehlung von unserer Seite!

We visited for a big birthday bucket list trip and did lots of research before booking of various areas and resorts. Aurora Collection absolutely lived up to our high expectations. The team are super friendly and efficient with all logistics taken care of seamlessly. We stayed in an Artic Spa Suite which had stunning views. It was clean and comfortable and clearly of excellent quality. We loved our hot tub and embracing the sauna experience. It would have been great to have a little more storage for clothes, suitcases, etc. but that's also the charm of the compact pod. Our only complaint is we didn't get to spend more time in it because we were so busy with the activities the area has to offer! The resort arranged for us a husky sled, reindeer sleighing, a snow mobile safari and a northern lights safari as well as driving us around the village to various points to explore. We honestly couldn't pick a favourite and all were great fun. They've clearly forged some good partnerships with local companies and also made some fantastic restaurant recommendations. A particular highlight was driving to a frozen lake with a local guide and cooking sausages over an open fire under the stars, in search of the auroras. The team enthusiastically supported your bids to see the northern lights, letting you know when they were visible no matter what the time! In this small, boutique resort, they have created something really very special and a great antidote to some of the more commercial "Lapland" experiences. We are true winter holiday converts!

This is our second time staying at Aurora Collection and this time, we stayed for a week. The service, quality, and overall feel of the resort got even BETTER! My husband and I are so proud to be patronizers of this resort. I misplaced my wallet on our last night and their staff went out of their way to find my wallet and true enough, they did! I am so grateful for the warmth and hospitality of everyone at Aurora Collection. If you're looking for a problem-free, stress-free vacation, this is where you need to go. You don't have to worry about driving in the snow or renting a car as they provide car shuttle services to bring you to your activities and dining plans. The location of the resort is another thing to rave about. Saariselka is less commercial than Levi or Rovaniemi, giving the town that quiet, quaint, and charming feel. The restaurants in the town centre are amazing, too!
