Hotel Neuhaus

Good hotel in general, but some comments on the service (I had half board): - breakfast very good - dinner to improve: we saw that the menu for the hotel guest had a lower quality that the guest in the hotel restaurant, which is not fair, looking the the high rate price of the hotel; this is a top 4 starts hotel, and 4 starts hotel must be good in all services; to be honest, it was bad to see the significant difference between the plates served to the restaurant and the plates served to the hotel (last night we had steak on the menu: we were served a black and hard piece of meat, not a steak) - SPA: very good - Room: clean and big enough - Snow: very bad conditions of the snow after 12:oo; this is not an hotel fault, but hotel should consider this fact in their services.

We visited over new year 2024 , family of 4 , 2 adults , 2 teenage children . The welcome on our arrival was warm, and inviting . Staff were aware that our stay was due to my husbands 60th birthday and they quietly asked if it was OK to make him a cake . That was a lovely touch . We had 2 inter joining junior suites which were traditional in style , very comfortable , spacious and good storage . On arrival in our rooms was water , pastries and fruit again a nice touch . The boot room was first class . Each room had a specific locker for your skis/board , poles and boots. No fighting for space !!! Boots were dry and warm the next morning , again made life so much easier . The facilities at the hotel such as swimming pool , sauna , Jacuzzi etc were amazing . Clean , constant supply of fresh towels and helpful staff . There was a quiet room with beautiful comfortable beds , fresh flavored water and blankets. If you needed away from the kids for some head space , this is the place to go . The location of the hotel was ideal , 2 mins in either direction and you are at the major lifts. Queues were fast moving as all lifts and gondolas were modern and scooped everyone up very quickly so relatively minimal time standing around . The meals/ breakfast were first class . The selection at breakfast was unreal , something for everyone's tastes from freshly prepared fruit to cooked breakfast from bread and cheese to freshly made belcher, cereals for the children , large selection of hams and fruit to take away . The only improvement I would make would be to add another coffee machine , but this is not a deal breaker, the standard of food far out wayed only 1 coffee machine . The afternoon snacks were a selection of pastries and cold pasta/ salad . Again unbelievably tasty and all at a high standard of presentation . Staff were so friendly , helpful and extremely engaging which was lovely . The evening meals were fantastic , loads of variation and accommodated vegetarians . Never had the same combination all week , always something new and exciting on the menu . Hats off to the chef !! ...on our last day we were leaving early , but that was not a problem for the staff , we were handed 4 x packed breakfasts , with sandwich baps , fruit , drinks and chocolate bar . nothing was a problem for the staff , so very accommodating . all in all our stay was amazing , and I would definitely return.

Wir waren mit der Familie auf Urlaub. Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war leider absolut nicht was wir uns aufgrund der Bilder erhofft hatten. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen und einen Grillteller. Pizzen waren unterer Durchschnitt, nur das Grillteller (€ 37,-) war leider das Geld absolut nicht wert. Drei Stücke Fleisch. Waren ok, Pommes waren ca. 10 Stk. Am Teller. Pfeffersauce war sehr scharf und aus der Tüte. Grillgemüse, wenn man es so nennen soll war mit Ebly, also nicht glutenfrei. Stand zwar nicht auf der Karte, aber als Person mit Zöliakie, gehe ich davon aus, dass es bei Grillgemüse keine Produkte mit Gluten gibt. Habe es weggelassen und hoffe auf das beste. Im Großen und Ganzen ist leider zu sagen, dass Preis Leistung absolut nicht passen. Service war wie gesagt gut, aber die Küche lässt sehr viel Spielraum nach oben.
