Protur Safari Park Aparthotel - All Inclusive

We had a fantastic stay at Protur Safari Park Aparthotel! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of entertainment options to keep everyone happy. The food selection was excellent, with something to suit all tastes, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly holiday!

Haven’t had the chance to conduct a full tour of the facilities as only arrived today so it is fair that my comments are based on what has been experienced in the past few hours. If you are seeking some R and R then would recommend anyone looking to arrive in the next few days to reach out to their tour operator to arrange alternative accommodation. There are clearly a number of youth events going on at the venue based on the high number of unaccompanied minor running and making large amounts of noise. Having reported the issue to reception, they advised that they had received a number of complaints and that it should be resolved today or tomorrow.

We travelled to Majorca as a family of 4 - 2 adults, a 6 year old and a 3 year old during May half term. To try and keep it as brief as possible to put your mind at ease! Hotel - located in a great place, shops just outside and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Room - we stayed in a one bed apartment which was spacious, clean and ideal for us. A large bedroom with a double bed (2 singles pushed together but made it huge!) And a large lounge area with kitchen space which had 2 sofas that we pushed together to make another double bed space. Loads of wardrobe space which was great. Bathroom was good too - a good size, a bathtub with overhead shower. And a balcony which was big enough not that we used it much. The rooms are spaced out nicely so it you didn't overcrowded or faced with lengthy corridors of endless rooms.. Pools - 3 main pools to choose from, alongside a small baby pool. The pools were very deep as you'll see in other reviews but you are allowed floats etc so it's fine! Yes they were cold, but once you are in, it's fine! And on a hot day, it's welcomed! The splashback is also just round the back of the hotel and is great fun for the younger kids! Both mine really loved it there and we would split our time between there and the pools. The splash park also has a self serve drinks area which is handy, alongside some trampolines, little rides and toilets. Sunloungers - this one's always a worry for me as I HATE the sunlounger wars. Yes people do start putting towels down around 730/8am but if you aren't fussy about a poolside lounger, you will get some - there are more than enough! They also don't feel crammed in which is a bonus. The only sunbeds that went straight away were those around the baby pool (there arent many). Food and drink - I've seen some negative reviews both before and after about the food but personally we didn't encounter any issues. In fact we were very happy with the food offering, especially at breakfast and dinner! There was SO much to choose from and it was delicious. Lunch was fine too but not as much variety however if you go to the bbq lunch by the mini golf, that was fab! Dinnertime especially did start to get busy, but the staff were good at clearing tables and getting people seated. With young kids, we always ate early but I did notice come 730, people were waiting to get in - albeit not long. Bars were great - self serve soft drinks by the pool or you could get served at the bar - loads to choose from including slushies (tip - mix these with a spirit and its lush!) Ice creams also self serve by the bar which was a firm fave for the kids! Entertainment - the team are fab! Always loads going on round the pool during the day and they encourage you to get involved without being pushy! One of the faves was the water mat which was very entertaining to watch! Evenings, the mini disco was good but didn't start until quite late. Lots of comments about parents stood round the edge which yes can be frustrating t

Had a great time here with my 14 and 10 year old. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food and drinks. My children especially liked the lunch from the grill as they could eat around the pool. We are going to book for next year and would definitely recommend.

Hier 10 dagen verbleven met onze zoon van 2 jaar. Het is een groot, mooi en schoon resort. Ons appartement lag aan de achterkant van het gebouw en keek uit op de zwembaden. Prachtig uitzicht maar het is alsof de entertainment op je kamer staat dus na 2 nachten gevraagd voor een andere kamer. Dit was geen enkel probleem en we kregen een kamer aan de achterkant. Hier hoorden we de entertainment niet. De bedden zijn wel echt slecht. Je voelt de vering door het matras heen. Verder is de kamer ruim genoeg en schoon. Airco werkt prima evenals de wifi. Het eten is afwisselend en voldoende. Mag wat mij betreft alleen wat warmer zijn. We hebben geen reservering kunnen maken in een van de restaurants helaas. Het middageten bij de country grill is ook lekker. Er zijn voldoende zwembaden die schoon zijn en het kindergedeelte is volledig afgesloten van de rest van het park, wat wel fijn is. Personeel is vriendelijk en de entertainment goed. Houd er rekening mee dat je tot 18:00 alle drank in kartonnen bekers krijgt. Het is dus aan te raden om een plastic beker mee te nemen. Als je er vroeg moet vertrekken ivm een vroege vlucht staat in één van de eetzalen wat brood met beleg klaar.

We had the most amazing holiday! Rooms are clean, all staff are very friendly, more subbed than people which was available at all hours of the day, delicious food, plenty to do, great entertainment, lovely surroundings. Also lifts were also readily available! People just choose not to get in them With you for some reason! We don’t want to go home! The only negative I could find was if you book a taxi through the hotel and even if you’re given a wait time, the taxi is never guaranteed! If a taxi driver gets a bigger job such as an airport run they will take that instead of picking you up, which left us sitting outside for an hour and a half without being told anything. So that’s unreliable. Aside from that fantastic!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Loved it so much last time (approx 5 years ago) and was excited to come again! We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7. The hotel is perfect/good value for money for families with young children . Included in cost is access to several pools- bigger ones were a bit deep for our youngest but the jungle pool and splash Park were amazing. You also get crazy golf and access to the farm close by for free which were both worth a visit. Beach is 10min walk away and also lovely for a change. Drinks included tequila sunrise cocktail which was nice and self service soft drinks by pools which was handy- loads of sunbeds which was a plus! Food is typical all inclusive buffet, which was generally a good selection, food was luke warm at times (however not dissimilar to other AI restaurants in spain). unfortunately our 5 year old did get sick on our second last day resulting in visiting the hotel doctor and then ambulance taking her to hospital in Porto cristo. The hotel dr, paramedics and hospital staff were all good and i found them very helpful during a very stressful time (They confirmed a gastro infection at hospital to be the cause of vomiting). There appeared to be quite a lot of children becoming unwell with gastro illness in the hotel, unsure if this was linked to food poisoning or a bug going about. There is a lot of children in the hotel so it makes sense that bugs would spread quickly. The hotel did however appear to responding to the problem and it was notible that cleaning increaed during our stay and hand sanitiser became mandatory before entering the restaurant. Me and my husband got around 20 mosquito bites each during our stay, kids were fine but definitely reccomend bringing repellent. Overall we had an amazing first 5 days to our holiday and the hotel remained good value for money for families, last couple of days not so great for said reasons.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Familienhotel. Das Zimmer ist für vier ausreichend groß und die Betten mittelmäßig bequem. Die Reinigung erfolgt fünf Mal pro Woche und ich fand das gesamte Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt viele (auch kostenlose) Angebote (Fußballplatz, Volleyballplatz, Minigolf, Fahrräder....) um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Die Pools sind sauber und werden alle von Lifeguards betreut. Dass die Poollandschaft den ganzen Tag mit lauter Musik beschallt wird, fand ich ziemlich nervtötend, wird aber von vielen Gästen wahrscheinlich so gewünscht... Wer ein ruhiges Zimmer wünscht, sollte nach einem Zimmer hinten raus fragen. Sehr schön fand ich den Minigolfplatz, der für Protur Gäste kostenlos nutzbar ist und inmitten von einer Landschaft aus Wasserfällen und kleinen Wasserkanälen angelegt wurde. Einige Bahnen sind zwar schon ziemlich heruntergekommen, aber schön ist es dort trotzdem. Das Essen war leider nicht besonders gut. Ja, man wird satt und es gibt auch ausreichend viel Obst und Gemüse, aber der Hmmm-Moment hat mir meist gefehlt. Auch das Italienische Restaurant hat uns nicht überzeugt. Meine Nudeln waren nur lauwarm und die Pizza mittelmäßig. Insgesamt haben wir eine trotzdem eine schöne Zeit hier verbracht und ich würde mich wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden.

Please please please!! take extra care in this hotel if staying at the moment or staying soon!! Especially if with young children. We have just returned from the worst week away with a group of 12 of us and it seems there is currently some kind of stomach bug outbreak at the hotel right now!! (See other reviews and also on Google reviews to confirm this) 2 days in, I was struck down with sickness (very violent and was knocked off my feet for 2 days - I am currently 25 weeks pregnant so was very stressful), during this time, my mother in law, husband, mom, 2 children (2 and 4 years old) and another child in the group also got struck down with the same. We are so glad to be home but our 2 children are still not right and thankfully now recovering at home after a really stressful journey home with 1 child very lethargic whilst travelling. The Hotel must be aware of this as towards the end of the week we noticed hand sanitiser appear on every counter / bar and extra cleaners around the hotel. Hotel didn’t seem surprised when we had to constantly call reception for clean towels and bedding either and didn’t offer any additional support. This needs investigating ASAP to prevent others from getting sick. Awful experience.
