I booked a cabin at Kanata Caravan Park for February 15-16, and the room's cleanliness was appalling: human and animal hair on the sheets, makeup residue on the pillowcases, sand everywhere on the blankets, and swarms of ants on the bed—completely uninhabitable. We checked out around 11 pm that night and found another Airbnb at our own expense. I've been to Australia five times and have never complained about any accommodation due to hygiene issues; this was the worst and most unbearable experience I've ever had. After contacting the provider, they refused a refund or compensation, and their service was appalling. I strongly advise all travelers to choose carefully and avoid this terrible experience. We checked out immediately at around 11 pm and had to book another Airbnb at our own extra cost.
