The renovations are certainly impressive and will be sensational once completely finished. The room was very spacious, and some windows opened, allowing fresh air in. You can go straight to the room via a code that is sent to you, which is efficient. They also allowed a one hour later checkout, which was appreciated. Nice toiletries are provided in the bathroom. I would have rated this a 5 star stay if the water pressure was better. Upon providing this feedback, it is obvious management are well aware of the issue and have plans to improve the overall water pressure in current renovations.

The Victoria Hotel in Rutherglen has had a MAJOR makeover. The restaurant is fabulous, the food excellent. I cant find the restaurant to review it so I am doing it here - I do know that the accommodation has been updated as well, so its going to be good too.... The staff are wonderfully efficient and friendly. You will have to book to eat as its very popular, and only been open as a renovated venue since just prior to Christmas 2023. Well worth a visit, fabulous addition to the main street as an historical building but modern and very gorgeous. You wont be disappointed.

Had a meal which was ok in group booking. After 2 hours we were asked by a man who I think was Manager that they had another booking and we had to leave. We were never told at Booking time. No where on website does it say 2 Hour bookings and the whole time he hovered around Our table the majority of time and made us all feel uncomfortable.

I have been excited to see what this renovation would deliver. Absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is very impressive. The food was delicious and well presented. Good local wine list. Staff were professional and attentive. No QR code ordering here! The atrium where we ate was noisy but management are aware of the issue and have resolution organised. Do yourself a favour if you are in the area. Apologises for no photos

This hotel has gone through an exceptional renovation and the investment is a belief in the great wine region of Rutherglen . It will be the go to venue for tourists and locals to enjoy great atmosphere and great food and local wines . it takes Rutherglen to a new level .
