We had booked 2 twin rooms,and checked in around 7pm after along drive and were looking forward to cooling down and having a nice shower. However,the air conditioning & small refrigerator did not work in both rooms! Some maintenance staff arrived but could not repair the A/C & fridge. Eventually front desk arranged for us to change rooms which were OK, but by this time we were very hungry and had ordered some room service food. We also requested staff to check out the new rooms before we move. So by the time we moved to the new rooms, it was almost 10pm?
My big complaint is that the hotel obviously never properly checked the first 2 rooms before allocating them to clients. Surely, this should be standard procedure for Maintenance Dept. & Housekeeping ??
There was also no compensation for the stress and inconvenience ??
