An absolute dealbreaker was the (not ordered!) wakeup-call at 7 am with an incredibly loud room telephone. The room Service not responding to calling "not needed" and still entering in the early morning was also not nice. For the money paid I expected more, though might also just been unlucky circumstances."

"With a last minute decision to visit Rotterdam with my son, we chanced upon Art Hotel. Modestly priced and right next to Maashaven, it took less than 10 minutes to reach from Rotterdam Centraal. Even we arrived late after 10pm, there was nothing to worry about as the hotel is right next to the Metro station and brightly lit! The reception was fabulously served by Nadia who upgraded us to a 4 bedder in 2 rooms. Room was clean, set at the right temperature and shower was hot and at the right pressure. Nothing to complain about!"

"The hotel's office manager is suspected of discrimination; they provided our room with no Wi-Fi and didn't clean it daily. After four days, I learned from other guests that the Wi-Fi had always been working, and the front desk said the entire building's Wi-Fi was under repair. They also said the cleaning service only changed towels every three days and bed sheets every six days. The neighboring guests cleaned daily, and after complaints and communication, they cleaned on the fifth, sixth, and seventh days and also fixed the Wi-Fi in our room. My experience after a week was terrible. I've suggested Ctrip remove the hotel from their listings and offered reasonable compensation, but the hotel refused, and Ctrip can't control the situation. I advise Chinese travelers not to book this hotel."
