1. The person who checked us in was not warm and friendly. In the past we have stayed at this hotel many times and had great service. This was not the case this time. The staff who checked us in gave us average service and didn't listen very well. When we visit a hotel, it's nice to be greeted with a smile and makes it easier to travel. 2. The hot water was not available when we wanted to take a shower. The water tank on the floor that serviced our room had to be turned up in order for us to take a shower. Hot water tank temperatures should be checked routinely as a matter of business operations at a hotel. When we called to ask for help for the hot water, no one came for more than 15 minutes. So we had to call again, and explain that we needed to shower and go to bed ASAP. This was not efficient service. 3. Room supplies: There was 3 decaff and only 1 regular coffee packets in our room. We woke up at 1:30 a.m. to get ready and noticed this problem. There was no way to get this problem fixed before we left at that hour. The cleaning staff should be more careful to put the correct things in the room. 4. The water in the room burned out eyes and skin. We've stayed at this hotel many times and never had this problem. Perhaps there is something wrong with the water now. 5. The fan on the air conditioner / heater doesn't change from low to high. It's always high and too noisy. When we asked about it, we were told that all of the units on the 3rd floor were like this. It was too difficult to sleep with the horrible noise of the high fan. 6. A unhappy start to our trip.
