Motel 6 South Bend, in - Mishawaka

The location was great, the cleanliness of the room was horrible sheets were dirty, towels felt like shop rags and stained. The floor in the room was dirty. I will never stay at this location again when I’m in the area.

Don’t stay here ! The Management is HORRIBLE! They do nothing about loud guests, loitering people at the front of the building and loud barking dogs! We stayed 2 nights and the room is not cleaned AND if you ask for towels , you have to turn in your first set??? What??? We don’t get a clean set per day but we PAY FOR 2 DAYS!!

As soon as I pulled up to the property there was a man smoking crack outside of the office, I saw at least 3 cockroaches inside the office that smelled like a public bathroom and I had to sit there for 20 minutes with a man working the front desk who didn’t speak English, he just stood there staring at me in silence and finally decided to grab someone who could communicate with me. After speaking to someone who I presume was the manager for all of 3 seconds he took one look at my ID and told me I couldn’t check in because I was not 21, even though over the phone the person I made my reservation with confirmed with me multiple times that the check in age was 18. After asking if they will give me my money back, the man I spoke with said “They will refund you on the other end” and ran away. After hanging up on me at least 15 times when asking for my refund they finally send the form to get my money back. So glad I wasn’t able to stay in this crack den of a hotel with the cockroaches and tweakers.

I stayed here once because it was very late and I just wanted an inexpensive place to stay for the night. It seemed pretty upscale for a motel. One of the beds had a stain on the sheet but other than that it was okay. Nice bathroom and the air conditioning and TV worked well.

This motel is pretty new. It has a modern style. The room was small, but cozy. We had a good night sleep. However, there were a few things we experienced. 1. The free WiFi was NOT stable. We had to reconnect every 10 minutes. Eventually, we gave it up and used our mobile data. 2. There was no hair dryer and in-room coffee machine. 3. There was no towel hanger in bathroom. It's not possible to reuse the towels.
